Twins sent LHP Adam Wilk outright to Triple-A Rochester.

Wilk cleared waivers after being designated for assignment and has accepted an outright assigned rather than elect free agency. He'll provide rotation depth in the minors.
May 29 - 5:00 PM

Francisco Liriano (shoulder) will rejoin the Blue Jays' rotation this weekend.

The exact day hasn't been determined yet, but Liriano felt good during a rehab start Sunday at Triple-A Buffalo. The left-hander has been on the shelf for nearly three weeks with inflammation in his pitching shoulder. He was really struggling before going down, so fantasy owners would be wise to take a wait-and-see approach.
May 29 - 4:44 PM

J.A. Happ (elbow) will start on Tuesday against the Reds.

Happ allowed three runs on seven hits over just three innings in his lone rehab start, but he feels good and made it through a bullpen session Sunday with no issues. His pitch count figures to be relatively limited Tuesday, so fantasy owners might want to bench him for what will be his first start in the majors in six weeks.

Byron Buxton was pulled from Monday's game against the Astros with a lacerated ring finger on his right hand.

Buxton suffered the injury on a dive in the outfield when his finger caught Eddie Rosario's spikes. It's likely a day-to-day situation, but the Twins could have more on his status after the game.
May 29 - 4:38 PM

Dylan Bundy yielded two runs over seven innings in a 3-2 win over the Yankees on Monday.

Bundy gave up seven hits — including a solo homer to Aaron Judge — while walking just one and striking out three. The 24-year-old has now gone at least six innings in all 11 of his starts this season and owns a 2.89 ERA and 49/20 K/BB ratio over 71 2/3 innings. The secondary numbers still indicate that regression is coming, but he’s been one of the more pleasant surprises during the first half.
May 29 - 4:22 PM

Jordan Montgomery gave up three runs (one earned) over 4 1/3 innings against the Orioles on Monday.

Montgomery deserved some better luck in the third inning, but he labored for the most part while giving up eight hits and a walk. He was pulled in the fifth inning after reaching 100 pitches. The southpaw owns a 4.11 ERA and 48/19 K/BB ratio in 50 1/3 innings through his first nine starts in the majors. He’ll get the Blue Jays on the road in his next start.
May 29 - 4:21 PM

Brad Brach tossed a 1-2-3 ninth inning against the Yankees on Monday for his 10th save of the season.

The Orioles snapped their seven-game losing streak with the victory. Brach struck out a pair and needed just 11 pitches to complete the frame. The 31-year-old blew back-to-back save chances earlier this month, but he has rebounded with four straight scoreless appearances.
May 29 - 4:21 PM

Jonathan Schoop had a two-run double in Monday’s win over the Yankees.

His third-inning double off Jordan Montgomery was the difference in the ballgame. The runs were unearned due to a fielding error by second baseman Starlin Castro earlier in the frame. Schoop has had a relatively quiet May, but he’s still sporting a career-best .804 OPS with seven home runs and 24 RBI through 47 games.
