Marquess Wilson (groin) returned to Bears practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

Dec 8 - 4:10 PM

Marvin Jones (quad) remained limited at Thursday's practice.

He sat out last week's game with a quad injury but has a much better chance to suit up Sunday against the Bears. Jones hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6 and won't be more than a back-end WR3 in Week 14.
Dec 8 - 4:08 PM

Dwayne Washington (ankle) remained "limited" in Thursday's practice.

Washington is on track to suit up as the Lions' primary early-down back against the Bears. With Washington at less than 100 percent, it's possible Zach Zenner gets more work than usual.
Dec 8 - 4:06 PM

Andrew Luck (shoulder) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

The Colts are just monitoring their quarterback's reps. Luck has a strong claim to No. 1 overall status in a jumbled week at quarterback.
Dec 8 - 4:03 PM

Jamison Crowder (hip) is practicing in full for Week 14.

Crowder tweaked his hip on the final play against the Cardinals, but he didn't miss a rep on Wednesday or Thursday. Crowder remains in the low-end WR2 mix.
Dec 8 - 4:01 PM

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Jamaal Charles (knee) is doing well in his recovery from knee surgery and hopes to be back for the playoffs.

It's a nice thought, but it's probably not going to happen. Charles has had two knee surgeries this year on top of the torn ACL that caused him to miss most of last season. It doesn't make much sense for the Chiefs to rush Charles back when he isn't even going to be the starter. If Charles does return this year, it will be as a change-of-pace option behind workhorse Spencer Ware. With all the injuries he's suffered over the years, it's fair to wonder how much Charles has left in the tank.
Dec 8 - 3:51 PM

Brandon LaFell (knee) was upgraded to "full" on Thursday.

LaFell will be fine for Sunday's game against the Browns. LaFell has re-established WR4 appeal since A.J. Green went down with injury.
Dec 8 - 3:33 PM

Updating an earlier report, Jordan Matthews (ankle) was upgraded to full at Thursday's practice.

There's no longer any doubt about his Week 14 status, not that there ever was. Matthews will be a WR3 Sunday in his return from a one-week ankle injury.
