Vernon Davis (ankle) missed 49ers practice again on Friday.
With Davis and Vance McDonald (knee) almost certainly out for Week 3, athletic specimen Derek Carrier will likely get a ton of snaps against the Cardinals.
NJ.com's Jordan Raanan expects Odell Beckham (hamstring) to be sidelined until at least Week 5.
Beckham has begun making sharp cuts and running at near-full speed in a straight line, but he hasn't practiced with the team in over a month. We wouldn't bother stashing Beckham in re-draft leagues, even in 14-teamers.
Arian Foster (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 3 against the Giants.
Foster was limited in practice all week. Although Foster's availability is not known to be in danger against the G-Men, this is a reminder of his durability woes. He leads the NFL in carries through two games. Foster also has a scary injury history when it comes to hamstrings. It's worth noting Alfred Blue ran ahead of Jonathan Grimes in Week 2, and saw 11 carries to Grimes' three.
Josh Gordon's suspension has been officially reduced from 12 to 10 games.
The NFL and the NFLPA agreed to a new drug policy on Friday. Gordon will be eligible to return in Week 12.
Keenan Allen (groin) is listed as questionable for Week 3 at Buffalo after practicing on a limited basis Friday.
He was limited in both Thursday and Friday's practices. The fact that Allen did bounce back to get in some reps Friday should bode well, and we'll know his Week 3 availability early on Sunday because the Chargers trek to Buffalo for a 1PM ET game. If Allen does play, he'll be a borderline WR1 in fantasy.
Jamaal Charles (ankle, questionable) was limited in Chiefs practice Friday.
"He did OK," coach Andy Reid said after the workout. "He looked a little sore, but he did OK." Charles is shaping up as a game-time decision in Sunday's afternoon tilt with the Dolphins. Considering the game's late start and Charles' inability to practice fully, he won't be a recommended Week 3 FanDuel option.
Colts ILB Jerrell Freeman (hanmstring) is out for Week 3.
Colts DT Arthur Jones has already been ruled out. The Colts will be without two of their most critical run defenders in Sunday's tilt with the Jaguars.
Shaun Hill (thigh) was limited in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Week 3 against the Cowboys.
He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday, as well. Although coach Jeff Fisher has deemed Hill the Rams' starter when healthy, the expectation is that Austin Davis gets the first-string nod this week versus Dallas.
