Cody Allen took his fourth loss after giving up a solo homer to the Rangers' Adrian Beltre in the ninth inning Tuesday.

Allen could have been in line for the save tonight had the Indians scored more than one run, but as it was, he was brought into a 1-1 tie in the ninth and took his second loss in four days. He's still pitching pretty well, having amassed a 2.40 ERA to date, but it's unclear when he'll resume getting saves.

Mark Trumbo went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBI on Tuesday, leading the Orioles to a 3-1 victory over the Blue Jays in Toronto.

Trumbo smashed a two-run double off of Joe Biagini in the first inning, providing all of the support that Kevin Gausman and company would need in this one. The hard-hitting outfielder is now slashing .262/.322/.407 with 10 long balls and 37 RBI on the year.

Rougned Odor went 0-for-3 on Tuesday and is in a 3-for-37 slump with no RBI and 11 strikeouts in his last nine games.

Odor finally seemed to have righted the ship earlier this month, hitting .313/.340/.750 with five homers in a 12-game span. Now he's basically right back where he started. If he doesn't play better over the rest of the week, the Rangers should consider sending him down for a Triple-A refresher through the All-Star break. It worked for Mike Zunino.

Adam Jones went 1-for-3 with an RBI single on Tuesday as the Orioles beat the Blue Jays.

Jones came through with his run-scoring knock in the third inning, running the O's advantage to 3-0. The veteran outfielder also drew a walk in the contest and is now hitting .271/.309/.440 with 13 homers and 35 RBI on the season.
Jun 27 - 10:15 PM

Brad Brach surrendered a solo homer to Troy Tulowitzki in the ninth inning on Tuesday but managed to escape with his 14th save of the season.

The two-out homer was the only hit that Brach allowed while punching out two on the night. The right-hander has now successfully converted 14 of his first 17 save chances on the season. With Zach Britton nearing a return to the O's bullpen, Brach's usefulness from a fantasy perspective may be coming to an end in the coming weeks.
Jun 27 - 10:14 PM

Kevin Gausman was terrific in Tuesday's victory over the Blue Jays, scattering four hits and two walks over 5 1/3 scoreless innings.

The right-hander punched out four on the night. While he has been nothing but a disaster for most of the season, he seems to own the Blue Jays and continues to pitch well against them each time out. He'll look to further improve upon a horrifying 6.07 ERA and 1.84 WHIP when he does battle against the Rays on Sunday.
Jun 27 - 10:14 PM

Troy Tulowitzi clubbed his fourth home run of the season in a losing effort against the Orioles on Tuesday.

The Blue Jays were one out away from being shut out in this one before Tulowitzki tagged O's closer Brad Brach for the solo shot. He finished the night 1-for-4 and is hitting .242/.299/.373 with four homers and 18 RBI on the season.
Jun 27 - 10:14 PM

Joe Biagini struggled again in Tuesday's loss to the Orioles, surrendering three runs on five hits over 5 1/3 innings of work.

The right-hander also issued four walks while striking out three on the night. The big blow against him came on a two-run double by Mark Trumbo in the first inning. Biagini settled in nicely afterwards, but the damage had already been done. He'll carry a 4.50 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 56/18 K/BB ratio into a difficult matchup against the Red Sox at home on Sunday.
