Dez Bryant (knee) says he got "great feedback" on his knee injury from Dr. James Andrews.

Dr. Andrews is someone players never want to visit, but the best possible person to get good news from. Bryant is still expected to miss Sunday's game against the 49ers, but perhaps he'll be ready to roll for Week 5.

Jarvis Landry (shoulder) and DeVante Parker (hamstring) will both be active for Thursday Night Football.

There was never any concern about either player's status. Landry is on the WR1 borderline against a defense that just got eaten up by Emmanuel Sanders, while Parker has WR3 appeal. The Bengals have allowed the third most passing touchdowns (nine) in football.
Sep 29 - 5:21 PM

Garrett Celek (back) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

Celek will probably be good to go for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, but his TE2/3 status will depend on Vance McDonald's (hip) health. McDonald returned to practice Thursday, getting in a limited session of his own.
Sep 29 - 5:05 PM

Willie Snead (toe) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

Snead is on track to return against the Chargers, but it isn't a slam dunk. Unfortunately, the game is at 4:25ET, and the Saints are one of the league's least-honest teams with injury information. Owners can pencil Snead in, but still need to have a back-up plan ready.
Sep 29 - 4:44 PM

Julio Jones (calf) remained limited at Thursday's practice.

The Falcons are just managing his reps. Jones will be fine for Sunday's tilt with Carolina. He should be in for a bounce-back game after being held to just 16 yards in Monday night's win over the Saints.
Sep 29 - 4:35 PM

Marvin Jones (hamstring) was added to the Lions' Thursday injury report, getting in a limited session with a hamstring issue.

Jones must have tweaked something in Thursday's practice. There's currently no reason to panic, but Jones' Friday status will be key. Jones has a history of (minor) hamstring issues. Sit tight, but at least start contemplating a back-up plan.
Sep 29 - 4:34 PM

Devonta Freeman sat out Thursday's practice with an illness.

It's just a heads up. Freeman is in zero danger of missing Sunday's game against the Panthers. It's a tough matchup, and Freeman remains in a rotation with Tevin Coleman, but he has too much upside to rank outside the RB2 area of the board.
Sep 29 - 4:31 PM

Jerick McKinnon (toe) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice.

The Vikings play on Monday night so this was their first practice of the week. Clearly McKinnon is over the toe injury that bothered him earlier this month. McKinnon collected 45 yards 16 carries in last week's win over Carolina. Though he might lose red zone work to Matt Asiata, McKinnon is still in the RB2/3 conversation.
