A video surfaced on TMZ Friday of Bucs rookie WR Mike Evans throwing a haymaker during a brawl outside a Miami nightclub.

TMZ claims the fight occurred last weekend, but Evans' agent says it happened in March -- before Evans was drafted. We figured it was worth posting because the video has blown up on Twitter, but no arrests were made and it is extremely unlikely that Evans faces any repercussions stemming from the incident.

Coach Jim Harbaugh referred to Blaine Gabbert as "the guy right now" for the 49ers' backup QB job.

Gabbert has a 17.9 passer rating through two preseason games, including two interceptions and no touchdowns. Harbaugh still prefers him over Josh Johnson. The Niners would be in trouble if Colin Kaepernick suffered an injury.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports there will be no decision on Josh Gordon's suspension appeal this week.

Per FOX Sports' Mike Garofolo, the NFL Players Union and Gordon's reps were expecting a decision by the end of this week. RapSheet says one isn't coming, however. The holdup is believed to be due to a high volume of testimony on both sides stemming from Gordon's latest failed drug test. Gordon failed several drug tests in college, as well. He'll remain in limbo until appeals officer Harold Henderson makes a decision. Hopefully, it'll happen next week.

Updating a previous item, BenJarvus Green-Ellis is sidelined by a hip injury at Bengals camp.

The Cincinnati Enquirer previously called the injury "unknown." Law Firm has "worked minimally" since the Bengals' second preseason game, and was not on the practice field Friday. He won't play in Sunday's exhibition contest.

The 49ers are expected to use their injured reserve/designated for return tag on NT Glenn Dorsey (torn biceps).

Dorsey tore his left biceps in early August, and the 49ers are hopeful he can make a late-season return. ILB Navorro Bowman (ACL, MCL) will open the year on the PUP list. The 49ers may view anything they get this year as a "bonus" from Dorsey. Their run defense will surely suffer without Dorsey and Bowman.

Dolphins waived TE Michael Egnew.

One of ex-GM Jeff Ireland's seemingly countless misfires, Egnew was exposed as a product of Mizzou's spread offense quickly after the Dolphins made him a top-80 pick in the 2012 draft. It's particularly telling that the new Dolphins regime saw more potential in Arthur Lynch, Gator Hoskins, and Brett Brackett.

NFL fined Saints TE Jimmy Graham $30,000 for dunking footballs over the goal posts.

Graham did this twice in Week 2 of preseason, which upset coach Sean Payton and obviously drew the ire of league brass. Graham has stated publicly he won't be dunking footballs over the goal posts anymore going forward.

NFL suspended Chiefs RT Donald Stephenson four games for violating the league's policy against performance-enhancing drugs.

Stephenson was a below-average starter to begin with, but it's still a big hit to an already shaky Kansas City line. LT Eric Fisher has been pulverized in preseason games after a rough rookie year, while the Chiefs' interior line isn't much better. In Zach Fulton, Kansas City has a sixth-round rookie penned in at right guard. Line-play differential is one reason to support LeSean McCoy over Jamaal Charles as the No. 1 overall pick in 2014 fantasy drafts.
