Buddy Hield scored 19 points with 10 rebounds and four assists against the Thunder on Thursday.

He hit some big shots late and the boards were a career-high. Hield was hot down the stretch last season and the Kings figure to put emphasis on their youth to finish the season. He's shooting the ball well enough as a low-upside hold in 12-team leagues.

Steven Adams scored 18 points with 11 boards against the Kings on Thursday.

He did look to suffer a back or shoulder issue when he collided with Willie Cauley-Stein in the second half. After a trip to the locker room, Adams did return and he looked fine for the most part except for occasionally dragging his left arm. He closed this game out and he should be OK for the next one.

Zach Randolph scored 29 points with 12 rebounds against the Thunder on Thursday.

He led a big charge in the third quarter to help the Kings overcome a 23-point deficit in the first quarter. Kosta Koufos (illness) did not play today, so Z-Bo wasn't going to get the night off even with Skal Labissiere back in action. That could change at some point, but Z-Bo was a DNP-CD in the last game before the break. Expect more rest down the line.

Jordan Clarkson was quiet on Thursday with nine points, two rebounds, two assists and one turnover in 17 minutes vs. the visiting Wizards.

Starting PG George Hill logged 31 minutes tonight and Clarkson was strictly deployed as his backup, which isn't what fantasy owners want to see. If he doesn't earn minutes at SG it will be hard to justify holding him in 12-team leagues, but a bit of patience is warranted as coach Ty Lue sorts out his rotations. We'll keep a close eye on Clarkson's minutes during games this Friday (at Memphis) and Sunday (vs. San Antonio).

Rodney Hood played 27 minutes off the bench on Thursday but scored only eight points with two rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers.

Hood didn't have any defensive stats and he didn't get the free-throw line, but the playing time was encouraging. Cavs coach Tyronn Lue went with a true 10-man rotation tonight, and Hood was the only bench player to log more than 19 minutes. He's not a particularly well-rounded fantasy option, but has been active enough offensively with the Cavs to hold in most fantasy scenarios.

George Hill played 31 minutes on Thursday but couldn't get it going offensively, scoring six points on 2-of-10 shooting with an 0-of-4 mark from downtown.

Hill added three rebounds, three assists and one steal, while committing three turnovers. The minutes were solid and Hill has a respectable 20.9 usage rate in Cleveland, but he's erasing his fantasy value with awful shooting and nearly as many turnovers (2.0) as assists (2.7). He should improve as he gains familiarity with his new teammates.

LeBron James racked up 32 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and two steals in a tough loss vs. the Wizards on Thursday.

LBJ sank 13-of-18 field goals tonight, with one 3-pointer, but that was the extent of the Cavs' offensive efficiency -- his teammates shot a combined 29-of-66 from the field (43.9%). Cleveland's revamped lineup had won five straight prior to this loss, but the No. 3 seed Cavs are still just 2.5 games ahead of the No. 6 seed Bucks. With home-court advantage in the playoffs at stake, LeBron's fantasy value looks rock-solid.
Feb 22 - 11:16 PM

Tim Frazier returned to action on Thursday with two points, four rebounds and two assists in 12 minutes off the bench.

Frazier wore a face mask after missing some time before the break with a nasal fracture. The mask didn't seem to impact his play, but even without John Wall (knee), Frazier's fantasy value is very limited due to Tomas Satoransky thriving in the starting role. Leave him on the wire.
