Chiefs coach Andy Reid said CB Marcus Peters (suspension) is "ready to roll."

Dec 12 - 11:15 AM

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said K Dan Bailey has a minor hamstring injury.

It explains why the hyper-accurate kicker missed two field goals and an extra point against the Giants. Jones does not expect the injury to be an issue moving forward, but it is something to monitor. If he plays, Bailey will be a great option against the Raiders.

The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero reports the Dolphins could shut down S Michael Thomas (PCL).

Thomas has been dealing with a torn PCL for weeks, but he has played through the issue. Salguero reports the "latest MRI was [a] concern," however, and Thomas has experienced some swelling which could force him to injured reserve. Thomas has played 30 snaps total on defense the last five games.

Lions C Travis Swanson is in the concussion protocol.

Swanson played every snap against the Bucs, so his symptoms apparently showed up after the game. With the Lions playing on Saturday, it is unlikely he is able to get cleared in time, especially considering he missed the final five games of last year due to a concussion. Graham Glasgow will fill in if Swanson cannot play.

Redskins S Su'a Cravens (concussion, exempt/left squad list) has been medically cleared to return to football.

In a confusing couple weeks, Cravens flirted with retirement in September before ultimately stepping away from the team for the season. His agent says he was suffering from post-concussion syndrome during that episode, but he has undergone treatment and is "looking forward to the 2018 NFL season." A second-round pick in 2016, Cravens has a long and scary history with concussions.

Devin Hester announced his retirement after 11 seasons in the NFL.

Hester hinted he was done after the Seahawks lost to the Falcons in the Divisional Round in January, but he is finally making it official. One of the best return men to ever lace them up, Hester retires owning the record for career punt return touchdowns (14) and career non-offensive touchdowns (20) as well as the third-most punt return yards (3,695) in NFL history. Most of that damage was done with the Bears, who drafted him in the second round of the 2016 draft. Hester finishes his career with three All-Pro nods and four Pro Bowls.

ESPN's Alden Gonzalez reports Rams LT Andrew Whitworth (ankle, knee) is not expected to miss any time.

Whitworth was in and out of the lineup against the Eagles after being rolled up in the first quarter, but coach Sean McVay said he "check out good" on Monday. RT Rob Havenstein (ankle) is also expected to be fine. It is great news with a pivotal divisional matchup against the Seahawks next up on the schedule.

Rams OLB Connor Barwin (forearm) is "on track" to play Week 15 against the Seahawks.

Barwin has been sidelined the last two games because of a fracture in his forearm, but he was never expected to miss extended time. Rookie Samson Ebukam has shown well in his place, but Barwin returning is a boost for the defense.
