Matt Holliday went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Holliday had an RBI single and came around to score in the Cardinals' four-run first inning. The multi-hit outing was his third in his last five games. Holliday is batting .322/.434/.450 in another quietly productive year for the 35-year-old.

Yasmany Tomas went 2-for-5 with three RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals.

Tomas hit a two-run double in the first inning before adding an RBI double in the third. He's now got a 10-game hitting streak that's run his overall line to .349/.384/.443 with 17 RBI.
May 26 - 11:14 PM

Jaime Garcia earned his first win of the season Tuesday, giving up four runs -- three earned -- over six innings against the Diamondbacks.

Garcia stumbled out of the gate, as the Diamondbacks put up two runs in the first inning. Two more runs over the next two innings threatened to end his night early, but Garcia recovered to post three scoreless frames and earn the victory. He struck out five without walking a batter in the win. He's now 1-1 with a 3.46 ERA through two starts, and he appears -- at least for now -- to be healthy. Garcia will take the mound Monday against the Brewers.
May 26 - 11:11 PM

Archie Bradley allowed six runs over 3 2/3 innings in Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals.

The right-hander struggled out of the gate, allowing four runs after the first six batters of the game. He allowed two more runs over his next 2 2/3 innings before exiting. Bradley's ERA and WHIP ballooned to 5.28 and 1.53, respectively, and he still hasn't won since being hit in the face by a comebacker on April 28. He'll try to get back in the win column Monday against the Braves.
May 26 - 11:11 PM

R.A. Dickey allowed five runs in five innings, taking a no-decision as the Blue Jays walked off 10-9 winners on Tuesday.

Dickey allowed two runs on a single and a sacrifice fly in the second inning, then three more in the fifth on a Jose Abreu three-run home run. He gave up eight hits overall with a pair of walks and five strikeouts. It's been three weeks since Dickey's last quality outing, as he has a terrible 5.77 ERA with a 1.33 WHIP and a 35/23 K/BB ratio in 64 innings. He'll try to turn it around in his next start against the Nationals on the road.
May 26 - 11:05 PM

John Danks got a no-decision on Tuesday, serving up six runs in five innings of work in a loss to the Blue Jays.

Danks was getting hit hard with regularity, starting early when he gave up a solo home run to Josh Donaldson in the first inning. He gave up seven hits overall while walking one and striking out five. The left-hander was hoping for better results in 2015 but they haven't come, as he stands with a 5.69 ERA, a 1.45 WHIP, and a 37/17 K/BB ratio over 49 innings. Danks will look for better results in a road start against the Astros next.
May 26 - 11:02 PM

David Robertson blew his second save on Tuesday, serving up a walk-off three-run home run in a loss to the Blue Jays.

Robertson, who got the final out of the eighth inning, entered the bottom of the ninth protecting a 9-7 lead. He allowed a lead-off single to Josh Thole, followed by a Jose Reyes double to bring up Josh Donaldson. Donaldson clubbed a walk-off three-run home run to right field. Robertson falls to 9-for-11 in save chances with a 2.41 ERA and a 29/2 K/BB ratio in 18 2/3 innings.
May 26 - 10:59 PM

Jose Abreu went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run and an RBI ground out in Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jays.

Abreu gave the White Sox a short-lived 5-3 lead with a three-run home run to left field off of R.A. Dickey. He added an RBI ground out in the middle of a three-run eighth inning as well. The White Sox entered Tuesday's game averaging only 3.5 runs per game, the worst in the American League. But it's not Abreu's fault as he has eight home runs, 27 RBI, and a .274/.339/.476 triple-slash line.
