Titans placed C Brian Schwenke on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.

G/C Eric Olsen has been signed in a corresponding roster move. Schwenke had started all 11 games this season, missing only one snap before Week 12. He was playing at a sub-replacement level, however. A second-year fourth rounder, Schwenke is signed cheaply through 2016, but won't be guaranteed to retain his starting job next in 2015.

Cardinals signed RB Michael Bush.

RB Kerwynn Williams has been waived in a corresponding roster move. Bush's name may sound like a blast from the past, but he appeared in 15 games for the Bears last season. Bush was dreadful during his two years in Chicago, averaging just 3.4 yards on 177 carries. He brings tons of experience to a backfield that lacks it, however. Although Andre Ellington's production has declined as his carries have increased and the schedule stiffened, Bush is zero threat to his No. 1 status. It's quite possible Bush will be no higher than No. 4 on the depth chart, but he could rise as high as No. 2.

Broncos waived K Brandon McManus.

The Super Bowl-contending Broncos simply couldn't stick with McManus any longer, as he'd missed nine of his first 13 field-goal attempts, including one in Sunday's win over the Dolphins. Only 23, McManus should spend at least a few more years hanging around the fringes of the league.

Broncos signed K Connor Barth.

He'll replace second-year undrafted free agent Brandon McManus, who's been waived after missing four of his first 13 field-goal attempts. Barth has been accurate throughout his career with a big leg, but missed all of 2013 with an Achilles' injury. He was released by the Bucs at final cuts. Provided he's healthy, Barth will be a weekly fantasy option for the Broncos' high-scoring offense.

Reggie Bush (ankle) insists he'll be "ready to go" for Thursday's game against the Bears.

Bush said the same thing last week, but apparently means it this time. We do indeed expect Bush to suit up for the Lions' annual Thanksgiving classic, but he won't be more than a middling FLEX play. Bush's production has declined this season, while he'll be at risk of re-injury.

Bengals placed RT Andre Smith on injured reserve with a torn triceps, ending his season.

OL Jamon Meredith has been signed in a corresponding roster move. The move officially ends an injury-plagued and ineffective season for the sixth-year first rounder. Smith is still only 28 (in January), however, and signed through next season. He'll undoubtedly rebound in a contract year. Marshall Newhouse will man Andy Dalton's right side for the rest of 2014.

Speaking Monday, Riley Cooper blamed his decreased snaps on walk-year WR Jeremy Maclin's contract situation.

"Maclin's trying to get a contract, so he's probably not going to try and come out of the game," Cooper said. Maclin was not amused, responding "that was not a very smart thing for Coop to say." Cooper later claimed he was kidding, and tried to make amends. "Maclin, I guess, is a lot better player than me, so he doesn’t have to sub. I guess I should have said that yesterday." Maclin has dominated this season, while Cooper has wheezed to a 39/425/1 line.

ESPN New York confirms Jets coach Rex Ryan is planning to stick with Michael Vick at quarterback for Week 13.

The New York Daily News had a similar report Tuesday morning. Vick was depressingly bad in Monday night's neutral-site loss to the Bills, and has just 17 completions over his past two starts. With the Jets' season long in the gutter, it's a bit surprising they aren't giving Geno Smith another looksee over the year's final five games. It's hard to believe Vick will last under center through Week 17.
