Celtics forward Jaylen Brown is expected to return from his hip injury on Friday night against the Raptors.

Brown missed three straight games prior to the All-Star break with the injury, but made it through Wednesday's practice and should be good to go tomorrow. Now let's see if the Celtics pull off any deals on Thursday that might either help or hurt his negligible fantasy value.

Avery Bradley (Achilles) went through part of practice on Thursday as planned.

He's only played in one game since Jan. 6, but he said he felt good after the limited practice. Coach Brad Stevens didn't even know if Bradley would travel for Friday's game vs. the Raptors, so that's a concern considering Bradley was initially targeting that game for his return. We could have another update soon, but Marcus Smart will continue to benefit if he's out.

Gerald Green sat out Thursday's practice with a sore heel.

His availability for Friday's game vs. the Raptors is unclear, but either way it's unlikely to alter many fantasy lineups. Check back for updates after shootaround.

The Raptors have reportedly made it a "priority" to trade for either Tyson Chandler or P.J. Tucker, according to Jordan Schultz of the Huffington Post.

Toronto has been tied to Tucker for a while now, but they might not want to give up a conditional first-round pick to get him. There hasn't been much interest in Chandler around the league, probably because the 34-year-old center is owed a guaranteed $26.6 million over the next two seasons, so the Raptors might be able to obtain him for a pittance. Alex Len is a nice stash in the event that Chandler does leave Phoenix.

The Knicks and Timberwolves "remain engaged in trade talks" toward a deal with Derrick Rose and Ricky Rubio, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

This is pretty much a non-update here, but it's worth a mention that ESPN is following up on The Vertical's report of the Knicks and Wolves talking. For some reason, the Wolves look like they're trying to fight for the eighth spot and get some assets, as well.

Joel Embiid (knee) said he's expecting to play some minutes next to Richaun Holmes and Jahlil Okafor.

There could also be some Robert Covington at the four, as well. With Dario Saric as the only healthy power forward, the 76ers may have to get creative today. Holmes played a lot of power forward last year, but almost all of his minutes this year have been at center. He is worth a look in deeper leagues with Embiid on the shelf for at least four more games.

Jahlil Okafor went through all of practice on Thursday.

Even with Nerlens Noel in Dallas, the 76ers are still likely looking at a deal for Okafor. The 76ers were terrible with Okafor next to Joel Embiid (knee), but they may have to look at that combo with only Dario Saric at the four right now. Additionally, Embiid being hurt should give Okafor some short-term value.

Joel Embiid (left knee) is expected to miss the Sixers' next four games, following the recommendation of the team's doctors.

Embiid went through a full practice on Thursday but the Sixers are being extremely cautious, as expected. If he returned after four games he could play on March 3rd, but there are no guarantees -- it's worth noting that that game is the first of a back-to-back set. Embiid did say he had some swelling on Thursday morning, which obviously isn't good, but for now it sounds like Philly is just playing it safe. His owners just have to hold him in the hopes of a return in early March.
