Adam Rosales led off the home half of the 10th inning with a walk-off home run on Saturday to beat the Reds.

It was his eighth homer of the season in only 146 at-bats. The 33-year-old journeyman is batting only .212 this year, primarily as a pinch-hitter who starts once a week or so. His playing time might receive a slight boost as the Padres sell off players at the trade deadline.

Jeremy Hellickson left Saturday's start against the Braves with a bruised right hand.

Hellickson fouled a ball off his hand in the sixth inning. He came back out to pitch the bottom half of the frame but was lifted after allowing a walk and two hits. Hellickson admitted that it was difficult to grip his curveball after the injury. It's poor timing as Hellickson has been the subject of recent trade rumors, though this injury looks pretty minor.

Alexi Amarista went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Reds.

All three hits were singles. He is batting .269/.324/.290 with zero homers and seven stolen bases in 46 games. He has been optioned and recalled multiple times this year.

Joey Votto continued to rack up hits, adding two more singles in four trips to the plate on Saturday.

Votto has his line up to .284/.418/.493 after a very slow start to the season. He is fourth in the majors in on-base percentage and is likely to be first by season's end.

Hernan Perez went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI to lead the Brewers to a 5-3 win over the Pirates on Saturday.

Perez, getting a rare start in the third spot in the lineup with Ryan Braun sidelined, took Pirates starter Jameson Taillon deep for a two-run shot in the first inning to set the tone. He tacked on an RBI single in the seventh inning to extend the Brewers' lead. After years of relative obscurity, the 25-year-old is trying to make a name for himself in 2016, batting .283/.308/.444 with seven homers and 16 steals in 66 games.

The Indians and Brewers have reached an agreement on a trade that will send Jonathan Lucroy to Cleveland, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.

The parameters of the deal have been set but nothing is official yet. Lucroy would have to waive his no-trade clause to complete the deal, though that shouldn't be a major obstacle as Lucroy has made it clear he wants to play for a contender. Right now, the two sides are exchanging medicals. Per Rosenthal, the Brewers will receive four players from Cleveland including top catching prospect Francisco Mejia. Minor league OF Greg Allen and SS Yu-Cheng Chang will also head to Milwaukee if the deal goes through.

Gregory Polanco hit his 14th home run of the season in Saturday's loss to the Brewers.

The home run, a solo shot in the eighth inning, came off lefty reliever Will Smith, his third homer of the year against a southpaw. Polanco hit some rough patches in June and July, but he's shown signs of a resurgence in recent games. After Saturday's game, the 24-year-old is hitting .287/.360/.499 on the year.

Martin Perez limited the Royals to one run on four hits in seven innings and took a no-decison in the Rangers' 2-1 walk-off win on Saturday.

He struck out five batters while walking three. Perez has been walking a tightrope this year. He has a very poor 63/55 K/BB ratio in 132 1/3 innings but has managed a decent 4.22 ERA anyway. The lack of strikeouts makes him an unattractive fantasy option.
