Travis Kelce caught 6-of-7 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown Week 3 against the Jets.

The Jets had no idea what to do with Kelce Sunday. He got open twice on shallow crossers early in the game in the red zone, diving for the pylon on a 12-yard touchdown on the first and getting tackled at the three on the other. He failed to convert on a screen on the next play. Kelce started the second half with a big play as well, easily running away from Calvin Pryor on a slant and running over Marcus Gilchrist to finish the run. He likely could have had an even bigger game, but the Jets' ineptitude on offense allowed the Chiefs to sit on the ball in the second half. Kelce’s upside is limited by his offense, but he is among the most reliable options in the league. He will be a solid TE1 on Sunday night against the Steelers.

Jimmy Graham caught 6-of-9 targets for 100 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' Week 3 win over the 49ers.

Graham and Christine Michael were monsters in this one, giving Seattle a 37-3 lead before the 49ers chipped away in garbage time. Coming off a ruptured patellar tendon, Graham looked fully back to form by skying to make contested catches in the open field and appearing in excellent shape physically. Graham needs to be picked up in all fantasy leagues ahead of a Week 4 date with the Jets. He is back to being a full-time player in Seattle's offense.

Jermaine Kearse caught 2-of-2 targets for 11 yards in the Seahawks' Week 3 win over the 49ers.

His yardage totals through three weeks are 57, 11, and 11. Particularly with Jimmy Graham coming on and Russell Wilson battling multiple injuries, Kearse is going to have a very hard time establishing any hint of re-draft value.

Shaun Draughn rushed five times for ten yards and caught 1-of-2 targets for two yards in the 49ers' Week 3 loss to the Seahawks.

He finished with six touches to Carlos Hyde's 22. The 49ers did not go with Draughn despite a massive 37-3 deficit, instead feeding Carlos Hyde garbage-time carries to "narrow" the deficit to 37-10, then 37-17. Draughn isn't going to become a factor in fantasy football barring an injury to Hyde.

Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 20-of-44 passes for 188 yards, zero touchdowns, and SIX interceptions in the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Chiefs.

It is the most interceptions in a game since Ty Detmer tossed seven in 2001. Needless to say, Fitzpatrick was dreadful Sunday. His stared down his targets, overthrew receivers, and tried to force the ball into tight windows when the offense was not working late in the game. He was intercepted thrice in the end zone, threw two passes that should have been picked in the three plays before his fourth interception, and effectively ended the game with a pick-six late in the fourth quarter. The Jets’ final five drives all ended with interceptions. Fitz has now sandwiched a poor and a career-ending performance around a stellar game in Buffalo. The ups and downs should continue all year, but it will likely be all down next week against the Seahawks. He can be safely sat in that contest.
Sep 25 - 7:25 PM

Blaine Gabbert completed 14-of-25 passes for 119 yards and an interception in the 49ers' Week 3 loss to Seattle.

He added 22 yards on five scrambles. After the performance, Chip Kelly continued to insist that he never considered inserting Colin Kaepernick. The 49ers simply do not have a passing game with Gabbert under center, and they seem content to get their grills pushed in by opponents before piling up rushing stats late in blowout losses. In Week 4, Gabbert will be a low-end two-quarterback-league option against the Cowboys.

Cowboys LT Tyron Smith (back) is inactive for Week 3.

Smith was added to the injury report Friday with his back issue, but is a surprise inactive. Chaz Green will replace him at left tackle and is a major downgrade. The rest of the Cowboys inactives are QB Tony Romo, CB Orlando Scandrick, RB Darius Jackson, S Kavon Frazier, LB Mark Nzeocha and DE Charles Tapper.
Sep 25 - 7:19 PM

Carlos Hyde rushed 21 times for 103 yards and two touchdowns and caught his lone target for two yards in the 49ers' Week 3 loss to Seattle.

Even though the 49ers were getting pasted 37-3, Chip Kelly elected to pad his team's rushing stats by continuing to run the ball against Seattle's prevent defense. Hyde's two touchdowns made the score 37-10, then 37-17, and his long gain of 34 also occurred in fourth-quarter garbage time. Fantasy owners will obviously take the stats, but all in all this was not a promising performance from the 49ers' running game. They do get a much more favorable matchup in Week 4 against the Cowboys.
