Bradley Zimmer went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the Angels.

He led off the first inning with a solo home run off Ricky Nolasco, then added an RBI double in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old rookie has offered his fantasy owners solid five category production since he got the call to the majors two months ago. He has a .277 batting average with six homers, 33 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 213 plate appearances.

Anthony Rizzo went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI on Wednesday, leading the Cubs to an 8-3 victory over their cross-town rivals.

Rizzo's bases-clearing three-run double off of James Shields in the fifth inning increased the Cubs' lead to 4-0 and proved to be the difference in the ballgame. He chipped in an RBI single in the eighth inning for good measure. Rizzo is now hitting .258/.385/.508 with 23 homers and 66 RBI on the season.

Carlos Santana went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over the Angels.

He helped break the game open in the eighth inning by contributing an RBI single that plated Michael Brantley, then came around to score on a Yan Gomes double. The Tribe scored seven runs in that frame. Santana has been strong at the plate lately after a weak first half. He is batting .244/.340/.421 with 12 home runs, 56 runs scored and 53 RBI in 415 plate appearances.

Arrieta punched out five on the night while issuing a pair of free passes. The White Sox scratched out a run in the fifth inning then Yoan Moncada belted a solo homer on Arrieta’s final pitch in the seventh. He’ll look to further improve upon his 4.03 ERA and 1.23 WHIP when he squares off against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

He doubled home Andrelton Simmons in the second inning, then launched a solo home run off starter Carlos Carrasco in the seventh. It was a rare good game for Valbuena, who has a .197 batting average with 11 home runs and 32 RBI in 64 games.
