Sammy Watkins (groin) is probable for Week 8 against the Jets.

Watkins will look to take advantage of a matchup with Jets' secondary. He's averaging 79 yards per game with Kyle Orton at quarterback. Watkins is the No. 13 receiver in Rotoworld's Week 8 rankings.

Chris Johnson (ankle) is listed as probable for Week 8.

Johnson practiced in full despite being on the injury report. He isn't a recommended fantasy option for Sunday's matchup with Buffalo's top-five run defense.
Oct 24 - 5:13 PM

Eric Decker (hamstring) is probable for Week 8 against the Bills.

The Jets managed Decker's practice reps this week for rest purposes. He should be close to fully healthy. Decker is Rotoworld's No. 22 receiver for Week 8.

Josh McCown (thumb) is questionable for Week 8 against the Vikings.

McCown practiced on a limited basis, but the Bucs could wait until he's practicing in full before clearing him to return. He would be Mike Glennon's backup if active.
Oct 24 - 4:49 PM

Khiry Robinson (forearm) has been ruled out for Week 8 against the Packers.

Robinson referred to his injury as "a little boo-boo" earlier in the week, but the Saints' medical staff clearly disagrees. As Pierre Thomas has also been ruled out, New Orleans' backfield will be dominated by Mark Ingram and Travaris Cadet versus Green Bay's No. 31 run defense. The stars have aligned for a bounce-back game for Ingram after last week's clunker against Detroit.

The Cincinnati Enquirer expects A.J. Green's turf-toe injury to hinder him for the rest of the season.

Listed as doubtful for Week 8, Green is not expected to play against the Ravens. "Green likely won't be 100 percent at any point during the year," wrote beat reporter Paul Dehner, who suggests Green's going-forward availability will come down to a pain-management issue. Coach Marvin Lewis' positive comments on Friday do bode well for Green's chances of returning in Week 9.
Oct 24 - 4:28 PM

ESPN's Dan Graziano suggested on NFL Insiders Friday that rookie Charles Sims could play a big role down the stretch.

Eligible to return from I.R./recall in Week 9, Sims has resumed practicing after fracturing his ankle in August. "He may get a shot to get some serious carries in the second half (of the season)," were Graziano's words. Sims is worth stashing in 12- and 14-team leagues. Doug Martin has been ineffective for a sustained stretch, while Bobby Rainey has been prone to fumbles.

Shane Vereen is listed as questionable for Week 8 against the Bears after missing Friday's practice with an illness.

Twitter freaked out when Vereen wasn't seen at Friday's practice, but players often miss practice with illnesses and are all systems go on game days. Check back Sunday for updates, but Vereen's outlook shouldn't have changed.
