Jhonny Peralta went 2-for-3 with an RBI double, a walk, and a run scored in Friday's win over the Dodgers.

Peralta's seventh-inning double off Juan Nicasio provided some insurance for the Cardinals' bullpen. The 33-year-old has four multi-hit games in his last five and is batting .311 with seven home runs and 26 RBI across 47 games. Production at the shortstop position has been hard to come by this season, but Peralta is right there among the best.

Kolten Wong went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base against the Dodgers on Friday.

Wong is taking his opportunity in the leadoff spot and running with it. He's hitting .357 with five home runs, 16 RBI, and 20 runs scored over his last 25 games and appears poised to claim his place among the top fantasy second basemen.
May 29 - 11:42 PM

Jimmy Rollins went 2-for-4 with a double Friday against the Cardinals.

Rollins has now hit safely in six straight games. Despite the recent hot streak, the 36-year-old has a disappointing .210/.278/.352 batting line through 46 games this season.
May 29 - 11:41 PM

Chris Colabello blasted a go-ahead two-run homer in the ninth inning on Friday, powering the Blue Jays to a come-from-behind 6-4 victory over the Twins in Minnesota.

It was Colabello's lone hit in four at-bats on the night, but certainly proved to be the critical blow in the ballgame. He has been a force the Blue Jays lineup since his callup, slashing .379/.432/.598 with four homers and 14 RBI. He needs to be owned and started in all mixed leagues until he cools off.
May 29 - 11:35 PM

Mark Buehrle registered the 31st complete game of his career in Friday's victory over the Twins.

It certainly didn't appear as if it was going to be a lengthy outing for Buehrle, who surrendered four runs to the Twins in the first inning. He settled in masterfully afterwards though, allowing just one hit the remainder of the night. He racked up three strikeouts on the night without issuing a walk, needing just 111 pitches to navigate through nine innings. He'll look to carry over this strong effort when he takes on the Nationals in Washington on Wednesday.
May 29 - 11:33 PM

Torii Hunter went 1-for-4 with an RBI double in a losing effort against the Blue Jays on Friday.

Hunter's RBI knock off Mark Buehrle came during a four-run uprising in the first inning, though the Twins would be limited to just one hit the remainder of the game. He has been very impressive in his return to Minnesota, slashing .281/.333/.461 with a team-leading 30 RBI.
May 29 - 11:29 PM

Trevor May pitched decently in a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Friday, allowing four runs on eight hits over his six innings of work.

May punched out five on the night while issuing just one free pass. The Twins staked him to an early 4-0 lead after one inning, but he was unable to hold on to earn his fourth victory of the season. He'll carry a 5.07 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 41/9 K/BB ratio into Wednesday's start against the Red Sox in Boston.
May 29 - 11:27 PM

Josh Hamilton hit his first two home runs of the season in Friday's 7-4 win over the Red Sox.

Hamilton launched a solo homer in the bottom of the second inning before hitting another solo blast in the fourth. It was his ninth career multi-homer game. The 34-year-old is coming off shoulder surgery and remains an injury risk, but his return to Texas puts him in a great position to be valuable in mixed fantasy leagues again.
