Coach Gary Kubiak called Matt Schaub an "unbelievable pro" after Thursday night's loss and said the team will consider starting him the rest of the season.
Denard Robinson lost a yard on two carries in Jacksonville's Week 14 win over the Texans.
Robinson was forced into action in the fourth quarter after Maurice Jones-Drew suffered a hamstring injury and Jordan Todman departed with a cramp. Shoelace headed back to the bench once Todman was ready to return. Bypassed for gadget duties by Ace Sanders, Robinson has no real role in the Jaguars' offense.
Keshawn Martin caught four passes for 28 yards and a touchdown in Houston's Week 14 loss to the Jaguars.
The catches were a new season high for Martin, while the touchdown was his first. His six targets were largely a function of the Texans going into pass-happy comeback mode. Martin remains well off the re-draft radar.
Dennis Johnson rushed three times for 10 yards in Houston's Week 14 loss to the Jaguars, adding one catch for four yards.
For the second consecutive week, Johnson operated as a pure handcuff to Ben Tate. He notched only one second-half touch as the Texans went pass heavy. Unless you're a nervous Tate owner, Johnson is shaping up as a wasted roster spot for the fantasy playoffs.
Marcedes Lewis caught two passes for 42 yards and a touchdown in Jacksonville's Week 14 win over the Texans.
Lewis' touchdown was a one-yard fade. His 41-yard catch was much more impressive, as he reached over the back of Texans LB Darryl Sharpton before adding some major yards after the catch. Lewis has gotten more involved in the Jaguars' passing attack in recent weeks, but still hasn't cleared three catches in a game. He's not a viable TE2.
Mike Brown caught three passes for 16 yards in Jacksonville's Week 14 win over the Texans.
Brown's biggest contribution came on Jacksonville's opening drive, where he muffed what should have been an easy 16-yard touchdown. Brown ran as the Jaguars' No. 3 receiver behind Cecil Shorts and Ace Sanders. He's not on the WR5 radar for the fantasy playoffs.
Cecil Shorts caught just two passes for 13 yards in Jacksonville's Week 14 win over the Texans, but managed to find the end zone.
Shorts was inches away from a much bigger night, as he drew a 33-yard pass-interference penalty, and was overthrown on what would have been a wide-open 59-yard touchdown. He also drew a defensive-holding call. As it is, Shorts finished with only six targets after combining for 23 in Weeks 12-13. Shorts will be a WR2 against the Bills' burnable secondary in Week 15.
DeAndre Hopkins caught three passes for 76 yards in Houston's Week 14 loss to the Jaguars.
Hopkins' longest grab went for 46 yards in the third quarter, where he flashed some serious speed across the middle of the field. Hopkins also made a spectacular grab on a would-be touchdown three plays later, but couldn't get both feet in bounds. With the Texans dialing up 58 pass attempts, Hopkins drew seven targets, his most since Week 9. Hopkins continues to show off his play-making ability in spurts, but is just a mid-range WR4 for the fantasy playoffs.
