Brandon Jacobs said his knee is nowhere near 100 percent and admitted he'll need to undergo an offseason clean-out procedure.
Jacobs practiced on a limited basis Wednesday but said his knee was definitely "stiff" during the workout. He also conceded that this could be his final NFL season, though he won't make that decision until after he has the knee scoped. We can't see Jacobs playing this week. It will be the Andre Brown and Peyton Hillis show against the Chargers. Brown will be a borderline RB1/2.
Julius Thomas (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Thomas practiced on a limited basis all last week before being ruled out for the second straight game. He remains day to day with a knee injury and will be updated again no later than Thursday.
Damian Williams (quad) returned to practice Wednesday.
Williams has missed the last three games with a quad injury. Even if he manages to play this week, he could be returning as the No. 4 receiver behind Justin Hunter. Williams has 14 catches for 146 yards this season and is off the fantasy radar.
Daniel Thomas (ankle) remained sidelined at practice Wednesday.
Thomas is unlikely to play this week, while his status for the remainder of the season remains up in the air. Mike Gillislee and Marcus Thigpen will handle backup duties behind Lamar Miller for as long as Thomas is out.
Delanie Walker (concussion) is not practicing Wednesday.
Walker is in the league's concussion protocol. He's yet to be cleared to practice and should be considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Rashad Jennings (concussion) is practicing Wednesday.
Jennings suffered a concussion on Oakland's final drive of Thanksgiving, but has already been cleared to practice. Barring a setback, he's now on track to play in Week 14. Jennings is averaging 86 rushing yards and has three touchdowns over his last three games, but will be just a low-end RB2 for Sunday's matchup against the Jets' league-best run defense.
Darren McFadden (hamstring) missed practice Wednesday.
McFadden returned to game action on Thanksgiving against the Cowboys but may have suffered a setback. It wouldn't be a surprise. We're talking about one of the most fragile players in the league. Rashad Jennings (concussion) was practicing Wednesday. McFadden will be the No. 2 if he even plays Sunday.
Denarius Moore (shoulder) is not practicing Wednesday.
Moore has missed the last two games with his shoulder injury and his status remains up in the air for Week 14. If Moore is held out, Andre Holmes will continue to start opposite Rod Streater.
