Benny Cunningham rushed for 10 yards on four carries and caught 7-of-7 targets for 57 yards in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks.

He also lost a fumble at the goal line, resulting in a touchback. Cunningham's season ends with 246 yards and three touchdowns on the ground on 66 totes (3.72 YPC) to go along with a 45-352-1 line through the air. Cunningham is purely a pass-down specialist for the Rams who excels in blitz pickup and as a pass catcher. That’ll be his role again in 2015, though that could change if Tre Mason improves that area of his game. Cunningham also plays special teams, so his roster spot is relatively safe as the No. 2.

Colin Kaepernick completed 15-of-26 throws for 204 yards and two touchdowns, adding seven scrambles for 63 yards in the 49ers' Week 17 win over the Cardinals.

And so ends a highly disappointing 2014 season for Kaepernick, where he finished with a 19:10 TD-to-INT ratio and 60.5 completion rate. Kaepernick definitely isn't getting better and may actually be getting worse, especially as a passer. He was more effective when the 49ers began running him more late in the year, but as a thrower Kaepernick consistently shows poor touch and is too quick to abandon his progressions when his first read appears covered. With Jim Harbaugh expected to go to Michigan, we suspect the 49ers will try to maintain some semblance of system continuity, perhaps retaining OC Greg Roman. Either way, it'll be an interesting offseason for Kaepernick. The Niners also need to replace free agent Michael Crabtree.

Matthew Stafford completed 20-of-41 passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns in the Lions' 30-20, Week 17 loss to the Packers.

With the Lions playing for a division title, Stafford wasn't close to good enough, sailing passes all afternoon long. The game was only competitive for the two series Aaron Rodgers missed with a calf injury. Stafford's 48.8 completion percentage was his second lowest of the season. He closes the book on the regular campaign with 4,257 yards and a 22:12 TD:INT ratio. Today's three-score effort was just his second of the year. Stafford will have to be twice as good if the Lions are to have any shot against the Cowboys in the Wild Card round. Stafford's Lions have never beaten a team with a winning record on the road.

C.J. Anderson rushed 13 times for 87 yards with three touchdowns and caught two passes for 20 yards in Sunday's 47-14 Week 17 win over the Raiders.

Tre Mason - RB - Rams

Tre Mason rushed for 28 yards on 11 carries in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks, adding three catches for 29 yards.

His impressive rookie season ends with 765 yards and four touchdowns on 179 carries (4.27 YPC) to go along with a 16-148-1 receiving line. The 75th pick in May’s draft, Mason started the season as the No. 4 back with Zac Stacy as the starter. Mason played just 55 snaps the first eight weeks before taking over as the starter in Week 9. Aside from Jeremy Hill, Mason was probably the most impressive rookie running back. He has plenty of big-play ability, but remains a work in progress in the pass game. Mason should enter 2015 atop the depth chart. The Rams will remain a run-first offense under coach Jeff Fisher and OC Brian Schottenheimer. That’ll make Mason a solid RB2 with upside.
Dec 28 - 7:49 PM

Larry Fitzgerald secured 2-of-4 targets for 29 yards in the Cardinals' Week 17 loss to the Niners.

Fitzgerald has essentially been a non-factor since returning from his MCL sprain. He took a backseat to Michael Floyd in this one, as Floyd blew up for an 8-153-2 receiving line. The Cardinals will need Fitzgerald and all of their weapons firing on all cylinders to have a chance at upsetting the Panthers in the Wild Card round.
Dec 28 - 7:48 PM

John Brown secured 4-of-9 targets for 51 yards in the Cardinals' Week 17 loss to San Francisco.

Brown also had a critical drop in the fourth quarter that would've gone for a sure first down. Brown started his rookie year red hot, but faded as the season moved along, perhaps running into a "rookie wall." If the Cardinals are going to upset Carolina in the Wild Card round, they'll need Brown to be much more sharp.
Dec 28 - 7:47 PM

Playing through a calf injury, Aaron Rodgers completed 17-of-22 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns in Green Bay's 30-20, Week 17 win over the Lions.

With the win, the Pack clinch the NFC North, and their conference's No. 2 seed. Things were going swimmingly until Rodgers tweaked his troublesome left calf late in the second quarter. What was a 14-0 lead quickly became a 14-14 tie as Rodgers sat out two series. He returned no worse for the wear, however, and resumed dominating a team that didn't appear to be in the same class as the Pack. He now has two weeks to rest up for a home playoff game. Rodgers has a strong case for the league's MVP award. He closes the book on the regular season the owner of a staggering 38:5 TD:INT ratio. His 4,381 yards are his most since his MVP year in 2011.
