Seahawks coach Pete Carroll declined to say if C.J. Spiller will be active this week.
Spiller was just signed on Wednesday. He’s still learning the offense, and doesn’t project for more than a limited role if he plays. C.J. Prosise (hand) practiced fully all week and is listed as questionable.
The Minnesota Vikings lead all NFL defenses with 15 sacks through three weeks.
Cam Newton was the latest victim of the Minnesota defense, as the Vikings recorded an impressive eight sacks in Week 3 against Carolina. Week 4 brings a home matchup with the New York Giants, who were responsible for three turnovers last week in a loss to Washington. The Vikings D/ST will be a strong top-tier fantasy option in Week 4.
Chargers DE Joey Bosa (hamstring) says he's "close" to playing.
"I'm very close," Bosa said. "We're getting there. Just being smart. There's no point to rush someone back." Bosa has yet to play this season after holding out late into training camp. It sounds like there's a chance he returns in Week 5.
The Giants plan to work out free agent Donte Whitner.
Whiter hasn’t had any interest since late August. It’s surprising he’s went unsigned coming off an 81-tackle season. With Darian Thompson and Nat Berhe sidelined, Whitner would give the Giants a veteran opposite Landon Collins.
ESPN's Mike Triplett says CB Delvin Breaux (broken leg) is ahead of schedule in his recovery.
Breaux was expected to miss six weeks after going down in the opener. He has a chance to beat that timetable, with a possible return after the Saints' Week 5 bye a best case scenario. Sterling Moore and Ken Crawley will start against San Diego.
Saints TE Josh Hill (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 4.
It's a downgrade from last week, when Hill was listed as questionable. Coby Fleener is locked in as a mid-range TE1.
Saints LT Terron Armstead (knee, quad) has been ruled out for Week 4.
Armstead hasn't practiced the last two weeks. His injury specifics still aren't known, but he'll be held out at least through the Week 5 bye. The Saints will also be without TE Josh Hill (ankle) against the Chargers.
Jets LT Ryan Clady (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Week 4.
Clady was limited in practice all week. There's been no concern over his status for Sunday's game. Clady has struggled on Ryan Fitzpatrick's blindside this year, grading as PFF's No. 50 overall tackle through three weeks.
