Toby Gerhart (ankle) returned to Jaguars practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

Wednesday was just a day of rest for the Jags' lead back, who is fully expected to suit up against the Colts' leaky run defense. Although we like the matchup, it's hard to trust Gerhart as an RB2 since he's managed just 50 yards on his first 25 carries behind the Jags' porous offensive line.

Zach Ertz is on the Week 3 injury report with a knee issue, but practicing in full.

It's not a concern for Ertz's Week 3 status, where he's shaping up as a top-five option thanks to injuries to Vernon Davis and Jordan Cameron. Ertz has played 67 percent of the Eagles' snaps through his first two games, and could see his role grown even more.
Sep 18 - 3:45 PM

Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (ankle) remained sidelined Thursday.

Speaking after practice, coach Gus Bradley said Hurns "needs to progress Friday to play Sunday." We wouldn't hold our breath. Owners need to be making other plans for their WR4.
Sep 18 - 3:42 PM

Cecil Shorts (hamstring) remained limited on Thursday.

Per coach Gus Bradley, Shorts "continues to look good." It sounds like he'll be active for Sunday's game against the Colts, but fantasy owners can't be comfortable with Shorts' recent injury history. He'll be a WR5 at risk of going down.
Sep 18 - 3:40 PM

Jordan Cameron (shoulder) was "very limited" in Thursday's practice, and could go "either way" for Week 3.

The word comes from OC Kyle Shanahan. Public pessimism from the coaching staff is never a good sign. Cameron should be considered no better than 50-50 to suit up against the Ravens. If he does play, he'll be a mid-range TE1 at risk of re-injury.
Sep 18 - 3:33 PM

Hakeem Nicks missed Thursday's practice with illness.

Nicks will be fine for Week 3. Coming off a one-catch, -4 yard yard performance, Nicks is a middling WR4.
Sep 18 - 3:31 PM

T.Y. Hilton (groin) was upgraded to "full" on Thursday.

Hilton was limited Wednesday, but the Colts were just managing his reps on a short week. He's a boom-or-bust WR3 for Week 3.
Sep 18 - 3:27 PM

Dexter McCluster (foot) was upgraded to "full" in Thursday's practice.

The Titans' change-of-pace back is now on track to play against the Bengals. He's an RB4 for fantasy purposes. You should be able to do better.
