Phillies activated RHP Chad Billingsley from the 15-day disabled list.

Billingsley will get the start against the Braves on Tuesday after a long road of injury rehab. This will be his first major league start since undergoing Tommy John surgery in April of 2013. He additionally underwent flexor tendon surgery in June of 2014. In four rehab starts at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, Billingsley posted a 1-1 record and a 4.74 ERA. He's not a great fantasy play, though it will be interesting to see how effectively he'll pitch after the long layoff.

Nationals acquired OF Darin Mastroianni from the Phillies for cash considerations.

Mastroianni didn't make the Phillies' Opening Day roster and has not seen time in the bigs this season. The Nationals have certainly dealt with their fair share of outfield injuries, but as a .212/.274/.289 career hitter, Mastroianni doesn't have major league upside.

Rangers claimed LHP Mike Kickham off waivers from the Mariners.

The Mariners cut bait with Kickham to clear a spot on the roster for Joe Biemel. Kickham had struggled in Triple-A this season, with a 7.29 ERA and 28 walks in just 21 innings. Unless he's able to show significant improvement in his control, he's not touching the majors.

Rangers transferred OF Ryan Rua to the 60-day disabled list with a foot injury.

Rua's right foot is a bit of a mess, as he's recovering from a broken bone and a severe ankle sprain. The Rangers were hoping he would be ready to return by late May, but this is not going to be the case. Josh Hamilton has Rua's former starting job now. There's no current timetable for Rua's return.

Brewers optioned OF Logan Schafter to Triple-A Nashville.

With Scooter Gennett recovered from a hand injury, Schafer was the corresponding roster move. Schafer's a solid defensive outfielder, but doesn't have much offensive upside. He'll serve as minor league depth for the time being, but could see a call-up later in the year if the Brewers are in need of an outfield glove.

Brewers activated INF Scooter Gennett from the 15-day disabled list.

Gennett had been rehabbing from a lacerated left hand, which he suffered in the shower. His stitches have been removed and he should be ready to play when the Brewers need him.

Blue Jays recalled 1B Chris Colabello from Triple-A Buffalo.

The 31-year-old Colabello has been smashing the ball in Buffalo, hitting .337 with five home runs and a .975 OPS over 23 games. He started out red-hot for the Twins last season before cooling off. Keep an eye on him to see if he jumps out to a fast start when given at-bats, but he's most likely not going to be roster-able in any league other than the deepest AL-only ones. Jonathan Diaz was optioned to Triple-A to make room for the first baseman.

Blue Jays designated LHP Jayson Aquino for assignment.

The Blue Jays traded for Aquino from the Rockies during spring training. Last season, the 22-year-old owned a 5.13 ERA between High-A and Double-A. He's not close to the majors and should clear waivers.
