Eric Decker (hamstring) is questionable for Monday night's game against the Bears.
Decker was able to get in a limited practice on Saturday, and coach Rex Ryan is confident he'll be available this week. His status is shaping up as a game-time decision, and may not be known until Monday night. Decker should be considered a high-risk WR3. Jeremy Kerley would likely lead the Jets in targets if Decker is held out.
ESPN New York's Rich Cimini believes its "time to unleash" TE Jace Amaro.
With Eric Decker's (questionable, hamstring) status up in the air, Amaro could be forced into an expanded role this week. He's played on just 30 percent of offensive snaps to this point, but would be the best candidate for red-zone looks if Decker sits out. Amaro has two catches on five targets through two games.
Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Week 3.
Jeffery practiced on a limited basis throughout the week. He's expected to play despite being listed as questionable, but will likely be at less than 100 percent health. Jeffery is Rotoworld's No. 9 receiver against the Jets.
Brandon Marshall (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Jets.
Marshall returned to a limited practice on Saturday, putting him on track to play. Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) is also listed as questionable, but is expected to start. Both are top-ten receivers against a Jets secondary that allowed 346 yards and three touchdowns to Aaron Rodgers last week. With CB Dee Milliner (quad) likely out, Marshall should match up with Darrin Walls, with Jeffery drawing Antonio Allen in coverage.
Panthers signed RB Darrin Reaves off their practice squad.
Reaves will provide insurance for DeAngelo Williams (questionable, hamstring). Fozzy Whittaker (thigh) is doubtful for Sunday night's game against the Steelers.
Vikings signed WR Charles Johnson off the Browns practice squad.
Johnson played under OC Norv Turner in Cleveland last season and knows his system. It's a nice landing spot, but Johnson is no higher than the No. 5 receiver on the depth chart. With WR Rodney Smith (hamstring) questionable, Johnson could be active this week.
Jaguars waived S Craig Loston.
The move opens a spot for WR Kerry Taylor on the active roster. Loston should be re-signed to the practice squad if he clears waivers.
Jason McCourty (groin) is questionable for the Titans Week 3 matchup against the Bengals.
Coty Sensabaugh would get the start opposite Blidi Wreh-Wilson if McCourty is unable to go. This is shaping up as a good matchup for A.J. Green, though his toe injury makes him something of a risky start.
