The Philadelphia Daily News' Les Bowen reports the Eagles are not interested in reacquiring Rams QB Nick Foles.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday new coach Doug Pederson was interested in Foles, but a source told Bowen, "There is no chance the team will reacquire Foles." If accurate, it is the right decision by Philadelphia. Foles has not shown anything the last two seasons to suggest he is markedly better than current No. 2 Mark Sanchez, and trading even a late-round pick to acquire what looks like a bad contract is not a sound way to build a football team. The Rams are likely stuck with Foles until they can get out of his contract next offseason.

The Philadelphia Inquirer's Zach Berman reports the Eagles have not decided whether to use the franchise tag on impending free agent Sam Bradford.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the Eagles had already decided not to use the franchise tag on Bradford, but a source denied those claims. Schefter's report also said new coach Doug Pederson was interested in bringing Nick Foles back to Philadelphia, but Berman's source said the team has not discussed their former quarterback. This saga has a long way to go, but it would not be surprising if the Eagles balked at Bradford's price tag and pursued other options.

On the TODAY Show, Peyton Manning said he will not make his decision on retirement for "a few more weeks."

"I'll keep doing it for a few more weeks, and then, at the appropriate time, I think I'll make a decision," Manning said. "I have to tell you, though, I'm very much at peace with it." Manning has cited former coach Tony Dungy's advice not to make an emotional decision as his reason for delaying the announcement. With the script perfectly written, it would be surprising if Manning did not retire.

The Seahawks official twitter account confirmed Marshawn Lynch is retiring.

Lynch posted a tweet with a "deuces" emoji and a picture of his green cleats hanging on a telephone wire during the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl. The Seahawks official account quoted the tweet and added the hashtag #ThankYouBeastMode. The timing and cryptic nature of the announcement is a fitting end to the spectacular career of one of the game's most enigmatic stars. Lynch finishes his career with 11,091 total yards and 83 total touchdowns across 127 NFL games and ranks 36th on the All-Time rushing list. Though the stats are not overly impressive, Lynch was one of the most dominant backs in the game for the early part of this decade and made his mark with several memorable performances. The most iconic of which was his 67-yard touchdown run to clinch an upset Wild Card win against the Saints in 2011. Lynch was a First-Team All-Pro in 2012 and won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks in 2013.

Jonathan Stewart managed 29 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries in the Panthers' Super Bowl 50 loss, catching one pass for a loss of one.

Stewart gave the Panthers an early scare when he limped off with a first-quarter foot injury, but he missed only a few series and hit pay dirt from a yard out in the second quarter, jackknifing head first over the pile. Stewart didn't have a run longer than five yards until the fourth quarter, when he ripped off a gain of 12. The Panthers largely abandoned the run when they fell down by two scores. J-Stew had a workmanlike 2015 season (242-989-4.1-6), but is no longer an asset in the passing game and turns 29 this May. The Panthers need to think about adding explosion to their running back stable this offseason.

Mike Tolbert rushed five times for 18 yards and missed his lone target in the Panthers' Super Bowl loss to Denver.

Tolbert's lowlight occurred on a short second-quarter run, at the end of which Broncos FS Darian Stewart helmeted the ball loose and ILB Danny Trevathan recovered for a Denver turnover. A 2015 Pro Bowl selection, Tolbert is headed into free agency at age 30. We suspect he'll return to the Panthers on a cost-effective short-term deal.

Jerricho Cotchery caught 2-of-5 targets for 17 yards in the Panthers' Super Bowl loss to Denver.

Cotchery made the game's first miscue on Carolina's second drive, bobbling away a critical would-be first-down catch with the Panthers backed up against their own goal. Bradley Roby had tight coverage, but ultimately Cotchery dropped another pass on Carolina's very next possession. Cotchery's third target was well covered by Von Miller, but was again a debatable drop. It was an ugly finish to a pedestrian 2015-2016 season from Cotchery, who is owed $1 million in 2016 and turns 34 in June.

Devin Funchess caught 2-of-5 targets for 40 yards in the Panthers' Super Bowl loss to the Broncos.

Still utilized as Carolina's fourth receiver, Funchess made his presence felt on a 24-yard contested catch with under a minute left in the second quarter. The 41st overall pick in last year's draft, Funchess doesn't turn 22 until May. He finished his first NFL regular season with a 31-473-5 receiving line, averaging 15.3 yards per catch. Ideally, Funchess will emerge as the Panthers' No. 2 wideout in 2016, complementing Kelvin Benjamin.
