Juwan Thompson (hip, knee) was sidelined Thursday.

Thompson's status for Monday Night Football appears uncertain. If he can't go, Ronnie Hillman (foot) may finally be ready to return as C.J. Anderson's backup.

Speaking Thursday, walk-year WR Randall Cobb said he's yet to begin long-term talks with the Packers.

"I guess there's still more to do," Cobb said. "So, just continue to put my nose down every day and focus on getting the team into the playoffs, and doing everything I can to bring back the Super Bowl." Cobb is 12th in the NFL in receiving (1,076 yards), while his 10 scores are tied for eighth. ESPN's Rob Demovsky believes the Pack are more likely to re-sign Cobb than not.

Bernard Pierce (back) is practicing in full for Week 16.

Pierce will be ready to roll as Justin Forsett's caddie. Dependent on random touchdowns, Pierce is not a viable RB3.
Dec 18 - 5:15 PM

Blake Bortles (foot) is active for Week 16 against the Titans.

The word comes straight from the team. Bortles' mid-foot "sprain" is apparently more of a tweak. It's good news for curious Thursday Night Football viewers, but Bortles has been playing absolutely-brutal football. Chad Henne would probably give the Jags a better chance to win, but that's obviously not their top priority right now. Jax needs Bortles to continue his on-the-field development. Bortles has thrown for multiple scores in just 2-of-12 appearances, and is taking an unholy amount of sacks.
Dec 18 - 5:09 PM

Jamaal Charles (knee, ankle) was upgraded to "full" on Thursday.

Charles is banged up, but he's proven effective at playing through minor injuries. He's locked in as a top-three RB1 against the Steelers' soft defense. Coach Andy Reid often loses the plot, but we expect him to feed Charles in a game the Chiefs have to win.
Dec 18 - 4:59 PM

Shane Vereen (ankle) remained limited on Thursday.

Vereen will play against the Jets, but can't be counted on for more than 6-8 touches. He's an uninspiring RB3.
Dec 18 - 4:58 PM

Brandon LaFell (shoulder) remained "limited" on Thursday.

LaFell's Week 16 status is not in doubt. He'll be a solid WR2 against the Jets' bottom-three secondary.
Dec 18 - 4:58 PM

LeGarrette Blount (shoulder) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

Blount's Week 16 availability isn't in doubt, but his role is muddled with the re-emergence of Jonas Gray. Blount will be a touchdown-dependent FLEX play for the fantasy finals. Players who are still alive in season-long leagues need to do better.
