Adam Warren (shoulder) has been playing catch.

Warren's recovery from right shoulder inflammation has come slower than expected. He's hoping to return at some point during the Yankees' next homestand, which begins in a week.

Ehire Adrianza (abdomen) could begin a rehab assignment in the next few days.

Adrianza was placed on the disabled list last week with an abdominal strain, but he received encouraging news from tests. He's eligible to return on Sunday and it sounds like he could be ready then.

Glen Perkins (shoulder, biceps) could resume throwing as soon as Tuesday.

Perkins received a cortisone shot after developing some biceps tendinitis. His timetable obviously remains up in the air.
Jun 26 - 5:05 PM

Phil Hughes (biceps) will be activated and used as a reliever later this week.

Hughes will make a final rehab appearance with Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday before being activated. He's still sitting in the 89-92 mph range out of the bullpen, which isn't what he or the Twins had hoped. Hughes, who is in the third year of a five-year, $58 million contract, figures to be used in long relief initially.

Jason Heyward took some light swings Monday, but the cut on his right hand still felt tender.

Heyward progressed to hitting off a tee Sunday, but it sounds like the Cubs are backing him off a little bit. He's eligible to return Thursday and it doesn't appear he'll be ready by then.
Jun 26 - 4:59 PM

Austin Jackson (quad) is getting an MRI on Monday.

He could need a stint on the disabled list, depending on what the scan shows. If a move is made with Jackson, it will come prior to Tuesday's game.
Jun 26 - 4:57 PM

David Price (fingernail) threw a flat ground session on Monday.

Price dealt with a cracked fingernail during his last outing, but he'll be fine for his next start. He's slated to face the Twins on Thursday.
Jun 26 - 4:47 PM

Carson Smith (elbow, shoulder) has resumed a throwing program.

Smith is working his way back from Tommy John surgery but had to be shut down recently because of a sore shoulder. He should be ready for a rehab assignment before long if he can avoid another setback, but he'll need a bunch of rehab appearances.
