Emmanuel Sanders was added to the Steelers' injury report Thursday, getting in a limited session with a foot issue.
Sanders dealt with a minor foot injury last month. Although it's always noteworthy when a player is a mid-week addition to the injury report, the Steelers are likely just managing Sanders' reps. A WR4 for fantasy purposes, Sanders' status will be updated on Friday.
Antone Smith (knee) isn't practicing for Week 15.
The Falcons' No. 4 running back appears unlikely to suit up for Sunday's game against the Redskins.
Tony Gonzalez (toe) remained limited in Thursday's practice.
Gonzalez may not get in another full practice for the rest of his career, but he'll be ready to roll as a TE1 against the Redskins on Sunday.
Roddy White (knee) remained limited in Thursday's practice.
White's "injury" isn't believed to be a major issue. Even if he gets a "questionable" tag on Friday's injury report, he should be ready to rock as a WR2 against the Redskins.
Bengals promoted CB Chris Lewis-Harris from the practice squad.
S Tony Dye was waived in a corresponding roster move. It confirms that Terence Newman (MCL) will be sidelined for Week 15.
John Carlson (concussion) remained out of Vikings practice Thursday.
Carlson appears unlikely to gain clearance for Sunday's game against the Eagles. We should get final word on Friday. Rhett Ellison and Chase Ford will split tight-end duties if Carlson sits.
Toby Gerhart (hamstring) remained out of Vikings practice Thursday.
That was the plan all along. Gerhart will test his injury on Friday. The same is true of Adrian Peterson (foot). Gerhart is considered more likely than AD to suit up against the Eagles, but he's far from a slam dunk. The Vikings will be left with third-year undrafted free agent Matt Asiata at running back if neither Gerhart nor Peterson can go.
Adrian Peterson (foot) remained out of practice Thursday.
As did Toby Gerhart (hamstring). Both players will test their injuries on Friday. Speaking Wednesday, coach Leslie Frazier said he was "a little more optimistic" on Gerhart's status than Peterson's. It's unlikely that Peterson suits up against the Eagles, but we should get a definitive answer on Friday.
