Adam Eaton is expected to be in the White Sox starting lineup on Saturday after leaving Friday's game early with a lower body injury.

Eaton sustained the injury while awkwardly rounding first base after his first inning single. His rest on Friday was merely a precautionary measure, and the injury isn't expected to be an issue moving forward.

James Loney went 2-for-4 with four RBI in Friday's 11-5 win over the Yankees.

Loney knocked in two runs with a double in the fourth inning and later delivered a go-ahead two-run single off Adam Warren in the bottom of the seventh inning. The 29-year-old has hit safely in four out of his last five games, including two multi-hit games, but he's still hitting just .235 on the year. If he can't hit for average, he's pretty much useless in fantasy leagues.

Erik Bedard was chased after giving up four runs over 3 2/3 innings Friday against the Yankees.

Bedard was called up last week to pitch out of the bullpen, but the oblique injury to Alex Cobb pushed him into the rotation. He didn't look all that good early on Friday, giving up four runs in the second inning, but he finished fairly strong. Still, the Rays surely would have liked him to work further into the game. The veteran left-hander should stick in the rotation for now, but he's not much of a fantasy option.
Apr 19 - 12:24 AM

Hiroki Kuroda yielded three runs in 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Friday night.

Kuroda left with the lead, but the Yankees' bullpen imploded in the late innings. The veteran right-hander gave up seven hits and two walks and struck out two batters. Kuroda hasn't completed seven innings yet this season, but has yet to throw a true clunker either. He'll carry a 4.07 ERA into a start against the Red Sox in Boston next week.

Wil Myers - OF - Rays

Wil Myers went 3-for-5 with three RBI on Friday against the Yankees.

Myers had a pair of RBI singles in the victory. The 23-year-old outfielder went without an RBI in 10 straight games coming into Friday's action, so this was nice to see. Hopefully the power will come soon.
Apr 19 - 12:23 AM

Evan Longoria had three hits and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Yankees.

Longoria reached base in all five of his plate appearances. In addition to three singles, he drew a walk and was hit by a pitch. The 28-year-old has just one home run through 17 games, but he's hitting .333 with a .408 on-base percentage.
Apr 19 - 12:22 AM

Scott Sizemore had a three-run double and a run scored in Friday's loss to the Rays.

Sizemore made his first major league start at first base on Thursday, but he was back at third base for Friday's game. It looks like the Yankees will mix him in against left-handers, so there's a good chance he'll be in the lineup Sunday against Cesar Ramos. He could be worth a temporary look in AL-only leagues.
Apr 19 - 12:22 AM

Yankees recalled RHP Matt Daley from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

The 31-year-old hurler owned a 5.40 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and impressive 13/1 K/BB ratio through his first five innings at Triple-A. He'll function as additional depth in middle relief for the Bombers.
