Brandon Pettigrew (foot) is not practicing Thursday.

Just like Eric Ebron (hamstring) and Joe Fauria (ankle), Pettigrew is not expected to play against the Falcons Sunday.

Eric Ebron (hamstring) is not practicing Thursday.

Joe Fauria (ankle) and Brandon Pettigrew (foot) also remain sidelined. The Lions are going to have to use Kellen Davis and Jordan Thompson in Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Travaris Cadet will likely be "heavily involved" in the pass game Sunday.

Pierre Thomas (shoulder) is not expected to play and Jimmy Graham (shoulder) could be limited again. Cadet, a strict passing back, has been integrated into the gameplan early over the last three weeks anyway, posting a 15-129-1 line through the air. Owners in full-PPR leagues could stream Cadet into their lineups and safely project 4-6 catches in a game that has the week's highest over/under (56).

Coach Bruce Arians says Carson Palmer's shoulder issue is now a thing of the past.

Palmer has resumed lifting weights with his right (throwing) shoulder after not doing so for five weeks. He's been a full-go at practices and said he rarely thinks about the injury anymore. Fully healed, Palmer is certainly in play as a QB1 in a home game against the Eagles' burnable corner duo Sunday. When these two teams played last year, Palmer threw for 301 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in a 24-21 loss at Philly.

Jamaal Charles (head) is not listed on the Chiefs Week 8 injury report.

Charles took a helmet-to-helmet hit from Brandon Flowers during Sunday's win at San Diego. On Tuesday, he admitted he saw "this light buzz around my eyes." Of course, that raised eyebrows around the league and Charles was put through concussion protocols by trainer Rick Burkholder. He passed and hasn't had any symptoms since, meaning he'll be a full go for this week's game against the Rams.

The Union-Tribune's Michael Gehlken says Ryan Mathews "may" be out through the Week 10 bye.

Note that Gehlken was merely responding to a question on Twitter, not necessarily reporting. But Mathews was ruled out for Thursday night's game against the Broncos early on and doesn't seem to be particularly close. Holding him out until Week 11 would make sense, especially with Branden Oliver playing so well.

Andre Ellington admitted that his foot is "probably not going to feel good until January or February or whenever the season is over with."

The partial tendon tear in his foot is something that Ellington has learned to play with. Perhaps it's partially to blame for his disappointing 3.74 YPC one year after exploding for 5.52 YPC. But just because Ellington's foot is not 100 percent doesn't mean he can't sustain durability and volume, as evidenced by his 21.6 touches/game through six weeks. He'll be a borderline RB1 against the Eagles Sunday.

Reggie Bush (ankle) is not practicing Thursday.

It's a troublesome downgrade from Wednesday, when Bush was a limited participant. It's clear he's nowhere near over his ankle injury after it caused him to sit out in Week 6 and barely play in the second half of Week 7. If Bush can't go against the Falcons, Joique Bell gets a boost and Theo Riddick (questionable, hamstring) would get set for a real role. Note that inactives for this early London game will be coming down at 8:30am ET.
