Dwayne Bowe (flu) is not practicing Thursday.

Dec 18 - 12:52 PM

Torrey Smith is not listed on the Week 16 injury report.

It's a bit of a surprise. Smith's knee injury turned him into a mere decoy in Week 14 and then he posted 2-16-0 on three targets in Week 15. By not even mentioning him on the injury report, the Ravens are saying he's close to 100 percent for a dreamy matchup with the Texans Sunday.
Dec 18 - 12:35 PM

Rashad Jennings (ankle) is not practicing Thursday.

It would be a major surprise if the oft-injured Jennings suits up Sunday, one week after aggravating his lingering ankle sprain. Andre Williams, who rushed 18 times for 44 yards against the Redskins last week, would be a candidate for a similar workload plus any goal-line duties.
Dec 18 - 12:29 PM

Andre Johnson has passed the concussion protocol.

Johnson ends up missing one game due to his brain injury. He returns in a plus matchup against the Ravens' brutal corners, but will have to deal with Case Keenum at quarterback. Both Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins are risky WR3 types.
Dec 18 - 12:26 PM

Cam Newton (back) took the majority of first-team reps at practice Thursday.

Newton appears on track to return after missing just one game. He'd slide in as a back-end QB1 against the Browns, although he'd come with risk. When Newton is hesitant to use his legs, his fantasy projection is severely capped.
Dec 18 - 12:21 PM

Kyle Rudolph (knee, ankle, groin) is not practicing again Thursday.

Rudolph's inability to completely put his sports hernia surgery behind him is a concern. If he is held out Sunday at Miami, Chase Ford will start.
Dec 18 - 12:17 PM

Julian Edelman (concussion) is practicing again Thursday.

We have no word on if Edelman has merely been cleared for practice, or if he's been cleared for full contact. But given his presence each of the last two days, he's on track to suit up as a WR2 against the Jets Sunday.
Dec 18 - 12:15 PM

T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) was not spotted at the beginning of Colts' practice Thursday.

It's a concern after the Colts said they tentatively expected Hilton back on the practice field Thursday. Given that they've already clinched the AFC South yet can't realistically earn a first-round bye, it's possible they'll exercise caution with their stud No. 1 wideout. If Hilton does sit against Dallas, Donte Moncrief and even Hakeem Nicks would be worth a look as streamers. Reggie Wayne (triceps) could be on a snap count.
