Mohamed Sanu caught just one pass for 16 yards in the Bengals' Week 16 win over the Broncos.

He was targeted just two times, even with A.J. Green playing only about 10 snaps due to an early-game arm injury. Sanu was draped by the Broncos' impressive cornerback trio, while Jermaine Gresham got loose for a 9-62-1 line on 11 targets in the middle of the field. The Bengals get the Steelers in Week 17.

Emmanuel Sanders caught six passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns in the Broncos' Week 16 loss to the Bengals on Monday night.

He was targeted just seven times, finishing third on the team behind Demaryius Thomas (13) and C.J. Anderson (10). Sanders, however, did the most damage with his looks. He scored his four-yard touchdown on a quick slant out of a trips set to the left. His second touchdown came from five yards away. In between those grabs, Sanders reeled in a one-handed 33-yard catch with Terence Newman mugging him on the right sideline. Sanders proved to be one of the best bargains of the season. He and the Broncos wrap up the season with the Raiders in Week 17.

Jermaine Gresham caught nine passes for 62 yards and one touchdown in the Bengals' Week 16 win over the Broncos.

With A.J. Green hurting his arm on the fourth offensive play and missing much of the night, Gresham saw a team-high 11 targets and led the Bengals in receiving. His touchdown couldn't have been any easier. Andy Dalton rolled out on play-action and found a wide-open Gresham in the back of the end zone. Gresham has played surprisingly well this season. The Bengals get the Steelers in Week 17.

Demaryius Thomas caught seven passes for 115 yards in the Broncos' Week 16 loss to the Bengals.

He was targeted a game-high 13 times. Thomas could have had a much bigger night, as he had a 50-yard catch called back on a holding penalty and then had another 30-yard gain brought back on offensive pass interference. Thomas was winning his matchups, but lost out near the end zone to Emmanuel Sanders, who caught two short touchdowns. The Broncos play the Raiders in Week 17.
Dec 23 - 12:23 AM

Giovani Bernard rushed for 36 yards on eight carries in the Bengals' Week 16 win over the Broncos, adding five catches for 45 yards and one touchdown.

The past two weeks, Bernard has been doing more with less. And that's how it was in 2013. The Bengals realized Bernard isn't a workhorse back, and he's taken a side seat next to 1A Jeremy Hill. Hill out-touched Bernard 22-13, but both did work with their looks. Bernard looked like his rookie self on his 22-yard touchdown, catching the ball at the line of scrimmage and shedding a tackle before making another defender miss on his way to the end zone. The past two weeks, he's managed 184 total yards on 31 touches. Bernard and Hill are going to have to carry the Bengals in the playoffs. They'll wrap up Week 17 against the Steelers.
Dec 23 - 12:16 AM

C.J. Anderson rushed for 83 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries in the Broncos' Week 16 loss to the Bengals.

He added 55 yards on eight catches. Anderson was the offense for the Broncos for long stretches of the night, but the Bengals played some stout defense at times. Anderson's touchdown came from one yard away in the third quarter, as he walked into the end zone behind an eligible sixth lineman. With Peyton Manning showing signs of his age the past few weeks, especially Monday, the Broncos are going to have to ride Anderson in the playoffs. The Broncos get the Raiders in Week 17.

Andy Dalton completed 17-of-26 passes for 146 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Bengals' Week 16 win over the Broncos.

Dalton's primetime nightmares took a night off on Monday. By no means did Dalton fill up the box score, but he managed to limit turnovers after tossing a pick-six to Aqib Talib on his second pass of the game. All OC Hue Jackson had to do was dial up handoffs from Dalton to Jeremy Hill. Dalton finished off the possessions by tossing two east touchdowns. The first went to a wide-open Jermaine Gresham from two yards out, while the second was a simple dumpoff to Gio Bernard who made two defenders miss on the way to the end zone. The Bengals face the Steelers in Week 17.
Dec 23 - 12:06 AM

Peyton Manning completed 28-of-44 passes for 311 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions in the Broncos' 37-28, Week 16 loss to the Bengals on Monday night.

Manning and the Broncos started really slow, failing to score any offensive points in the first half. His first interception was a poorly thrown ball behind Julius Thomas in the flat at his own 22-yard line, setting up an easy Bengals touchdown. Manning's third pick was returned 30 yards for a touchdown by Dre Kirkpatrick to give the Bengals their nine-point cushion with four minutes to play. It was one of the worst passes you'd ever see, as it was thrown by weak-armed Peyton off his back foot and into the rain. On the following drive, Kirkpatrick picked off Manning again. It was Peyton's fifth career four-pick game. Before the meltdown, Manning had the offense clicking coming out of halftime with 21 points in the third quarter. We hate to say it, but it looks like another playoff disappointment may be on the horizon in Denver. They'll close out Week 17 with the Raiders.
