Roberto Osuna tossed a scoreless ninth inning to record his seventh save of the season on Tuesday in Milwaukee.

Osuna walked Eric Sogard with two outs as he tried to protect a one-run lead, but he then got Jonathan Villar swinging to end it. He hasn't been afforded many save chances this season, but Osuna has now been unscored upon in 11 of his last 12 appearances.

Edwin Encarnacion homered twice Tuesday to propel the Indians past the Reds 8-7.

It was only a matter of time before Encarnacion figured this out. He's still striking out more than usual, but he has four homers and two doubles in his last seven games.

Kendrys Morales smacked a two-run homer Tuesday in Milwaukee.

Morales' longball off of Jimmy Nelson in the fifth inning extended the Blue Jays' lead to 4-0 and they wound up hanging on 4-3. While his .244/.295/.433 batting line isn't anything to write home about, Morales has swatted eight home runs and driven in 25 runs.

Carlos Carrasco gave up four runs in 6 1/3 innings Tuesday in a no-decision versus the Reds.

Carrasco left his last start with pectoral muscle tightness and was given an extra couple of days off before pitching tonight. He was wild in this one, walking four and hitting two batters. Still, it would have been a quality start had Terry Francona not asked him to face the top of the lineup a fourth time in the seventh inning.

Dylan Covey made an early exit Tuesday against the Diamondbacks due to left oblique soreness.

Covey had allowed four earned runs on five hits over 2 1/3 innings at Arizona's Chase Field. The right-hander has a brutal 8.12 ERA in 37 2/3 innings this season and is probably headed for the disabled list even if the oblique injury proves to be minor.
May 23 - 11:03 PM

Andrew Miller picked up four outs and notched his third win Tuesday against the Reds.

We figured the Indians would manage Miller's innings this year in the hopes of having him at peak form in October. It hasn't really been the case thus far, though; he's thrown 22 1/3 innings through 44 games. He's been outstanding, of course, allowing just one run to date. It has to be hard for Terry Francona to resist the temptation to throw him into every close game.
May 23 - 11:01 PM

Travis Shaw struck out in all four of his plate appearances to wear a Golden Sombrero in Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jays.

Well, that's one way for your 11-game hitting streak to come to an end. Shaw is on pace for a 133/29 K/BB ratio this season but is also pacing for 32 home runs and 122 RBI.
May 23 - 11:01 PM

Jesse Hahn left his start Tuesday against the Marlins after suffering an apparent injury.

Hahn exited with a trainer after throwing a 90 mph fastball to Marcell Ozuna in the top of the third inning. Look for a status update within the next hour. The right-hander had allowed four earned runs on seven hits and departed the game with the A's trailing 4-1.
