Martellus Bennett (hamstring) returned to Bears practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

The Unicorn is now on track for Week 8. Bennett hasn't found the end zone since Week 3, but has continued to rack up yards and receptions. With Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery both likely to draw attention from Darrelle Revis on Sunday, Bennett is a decent bet to score his fifth touchdown.

Speaking Thursday, Colts OC Pep Hamilton called third-round WR Donte Moncrief "ahead of schedule."

Moncrief will be in for an increased Week 8 role if Reggie Wayne (elbow) can't go. "He’s a guy that we feel like at any given moment we can plug in and he can perform," Hamilton said of his rookie wideout. Moncrief is an intriguing talent — and out-snapped Hakeem Nicks 23-19 in Week 7 — but is still a tough sell as anything more than a WR5. He's more of a daily-league dart throw than re-draft option.

Owen Daniels (knee) remained out of Ravens practice Thursday.

Daniels' Wednesday absence wasn't a concern as he's been getting "veteran days" all season, but his Week 8 prospects are now a bit muddled. It's still most likely that the Ravens are just taking it easy on Daniels as he nurses a minor injury, but his status can't be taken for granted. The situation will be updated on Friday.

Bucs signed LB Orie Lemon.

The ex-Cowboy was on the Chiefs' practice squad. He'll bring up the rear of the Bucs' 53-man roster.

James Starks (ankle) returned to practice Thursday.

Starks got a day of rest on Wednesday after tweaking his ankle in Sunday's blowout win over the Panthers, but his status isn't in doubt for Week 8. He'll be an RB3/4 in what should be a high-scoring affair in New Orleans.
Oct 23 - 1:15 PM

A.J. Green (toe) remained sidelined at Bengals practice Thursday.

Green continued to work on a side field, but he's not looking good for Sunday's game against the Ravens. Owners have to plan on their WR1 missing one more week of action.

Browns coach Mike Pettine noted that Raiders WR Brice Butler "jumps off the tape."

We've noticed the same thing. Butler was spectacular in the preseason, catching 13 passes for 206 yards with four touchdowns. He's also starting to earn a bigger role in the regular season, as evidenced by his nine targets over the last three weeks. Butler, a 2013 seventh-round pick, should be owned in Dynasty formats.

Texans OLB Jadeveon Clowney (knee) said he'd be surprised if he doesn't play in Sunday's game against the Titans.

Clowney hasn't played since tearing his meniscus in Week 1. He says he plans to "push through" the soreness that's still in his knee. If the training staff lets him do so, it's obviously a concern for Zach Mettenberger's first NFL start.
