Rams TE Lance Kendricks caught 3-of-3 targets for 36 yards in Saturday night's third preseason game.
Kendricks is the Rams' starting tight end, but rookie Tyler Higbee is coming hard after his job. While Kendricks' plus blocking ability should keep him active with the first-team offense, the Rams' shortage of passing volume as an offensive philosophy has Kendricks low on our list of TE2 targets.
Case Keenum completed 8-of-12 passes for 77 yards and rushed once for four yards in the Rams' third preseason game.
Still holding off No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff, Keenum has completed 18-of-24 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown through three preseason games. Jeff Fisher would do cartwheels if Keenum could give the Rams stat lines like that every week. Keenum's primary 2016 task will be handing off to Todd Gurley.
Jalen Richard rushed seven times for 35 yards and caught two passes for seven yards in the Raiders' third preseason game.
With Richard and DeAndre Washington competing for the backup job, the Raiders got both plenty of snaps with the first team. Washington seemed to play ahead of Richard, but the undrafted rookie flashed plenty of quickness and burst when he was on the field Saturday night. The winner of the competition will likely push Latavius Murray for work.
Andre Johnson hauled in 3-of-4 targets for 65 yards Saturday night against the Raiders.
Johnson saw plenty of work with the first-team offense, recording all three of his catches on the second possession. He also was targeted on a fade in the back corner of the end zone. Johnson showed he was out of gas last season, but the Titans seem intent on given him a role. We will see how long that lasts.
C.J. Anderson rushed 11 times for 50 yards in the Broncos' third preseason game Saturday night.
His preseason rushing stats stand at 19-88-1 (4.63 YPC). Although Devontae Booker mixed in a bit more with the first-team offense Saturday, Anderson remained the clear feature back with the ones. Anderson has disappointed before, but bear in mind his ADP has fallen by nearly three rounds since last year. If Anderson stays healthy, the 25-year-old will be utilized heavily.
Larry Donnell caught 1-of-2 targets for eight yards in Saturday's preseason game.
There hasn't been much clarity to Donnell's "battle" with Will Tye, but Donnell seemed to spend more time with the first-team offense this evening. His catch tonight was his first of the summer. If nothing else, Donnell is going to remain a big body who can box out defenders in the red zone, but it's quite possible he and Tye cancel each other out from a TE2 perspective.
Will Tye caught 2-of-2 targets for -2 yards in Saturday's preseason game.
Larry Donnell spent more time with the first-team offense, but Tye also got some run with the 1s before catching a pass from Ryan Nassib. Donnell appears to be ahead in the competition for No. 1 duties, but hasn't exactly separated. Both players figure to have Week 1 roles, making for a situation to avoid for TE2 streamers.
Harry Douglas was not targeted in the Titans' third preseason game.
He did gain eight yards on the ground after Marcus Mariota pitched to him at the end of a scramble. Despite seeing no targets, Douglas worked plenty with the first-team offense. With Kendall Wright unable to get healthy, Douglas could open the season as the starter in the slot.
