Yasiel Puig is not in the Dodgers' lineup Sunday.

Puig went 2-for-3 at the plate in his return to action Saturday after missing the previous four days with hamstring soreness. It's not clear at this point if he had a setback or if the Dodgers are just easing him back into things. Andre Ethier is in right field Sunday, while Justin Turner is at third base instead of Juan Uribe and A.J. Ellis is catching over Yasmani Grandal.

The Athletics will wait to see how Jesse Hahn (blister) does in his between-starts bullpen session before determining whether he'll be ready for his next outing.

Hahn tossed 5 1/3 scoreless frames Saturday before having to leave with a blister issue. He'll ultimately be fine, but it's possible the A's will skip him one time through the rotation in order to allow the blister to fully heal. Jesse Chavez, who threw 3 2/3 scoreless innings himself in relief of Hahn, would be in line for a spot start.

Justin Upton (quad) is not in the Padres' lineup Sunday.

Upton tweaked his quad in the ninth inning Saturday but remained in the game and even doubled in the 10th. He'll be fine but needs a day or two of rest. Will Venable is handling left field Sunday. The Padres are also going with Yangervis Solarte over Yonder Alonso at first base and Clint Barmes over Alexi Amarista at shortstop.

The Yankees are hopeful that Carlos Beltran (illness) will be ready to return to the lineup on Monday.

Manager Joe Girardi said Sunday that Beltran was still feeling "weak" due to the flu, which is why he's sitting out for the second day in a row. The veteran outfielder is off to an awful start at the plate with a .184/.238/.289 batting line through his first 10 games.

Chris Iannetta is not in the Angels' lineup Sunday.

It's simply a routine day off. Drew Butera is behind the plate Sunday in Iannetta's place.
Apr 19 - 11:39 AM

Jake Marisnick is not in the Astros' lineup Sunday.

Marisnick is one of the few regulars for the club who's hitting (.333/.344/.533), but he'll take a seat in this one. Colby Rasmus is covering center field, with Robbie Grossman handling left.
Apr 19 - 11:37 AM

Steve Pearce is not in the Orioles' lineup Sunday.

It's just a day of rest for Pearce, who is hitting only .175/.267/.325 in the early going. Jimmy Paredes is in the designated hitter spot, with Chris Davis at first base.
Apr 19 - 11:16 AM

Kevin Kiermaier (illness) remained out of the Rays' lineup Sunday.

He's battled the flu bug the last couple days but did say he's available off the bench Sunday. Desmond Jennings is covering center field in Kiermaier's absence, with Brandon Guyer handling left.
