Davante Adams said he is still "pissed off" about his performance against the Bears Thanksgiving.
"It’s hard to let it go," Adams said. "You really want to have that, they call it, the DB mentality. Just let it go, and go to the next play. Forget about it. But it’s hard." Adams has been inefficient early in his career despite playing with Aaron Rodgers, but he has been particularly bad recently. Adams has converted just 15-of-36 targets for 129 scoreless yards the last three games. If Adams cannot improve quickly he may begin losing snaps to Jared Abbrederis (ribs) and Jeff Janis.
Zach Ertz (concussion) is practicing Tuesday.
Ertz will have to get in a few limited practices before he is completely cleared of the concussion, but starting the process this early in the week is a good sign for his availability. Ertz should play against New England, but he is not a good fantasy option in a tough matchup.
Ryan Mathews (concussion) is not practicing Tuesday.
Unlike last week Mathews is on the field observing practice, which is at least a step in the right direction. Mathews will need to return to practice by Thursday to have a real shot to play this week. He will likely miss at least one more game.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Ben Roethlisberger did suffer a concussion Week 12 and is in the league's protocol.
Roethlisberger said in a radio interview Tuesday morning he did not suffer a concussion but was diagnosed with a "traumatic ocular migraine." Ben said he plans to practice Wednesday, and we should know then who is closer to the truth. Roethlisberger should still tentatively be expected to play against the Colts.
Panthers WR Corey Brown (shoulder) returned to practice Tuesday.
He has been sidelined since injuring the shoulder in practice prior to Week 11. Brown should be good to go this weekend, but he may have lost his starting job to rookie Devin Funchess.
The Boston Globe's Ben Volin reports Patriots WLB Jamie Collins (illness) plans to play Sunday.
Collins returned to a limited practice Friday and should be able to get in a couple full sessions this week. With Dont'a Hightower extremely questionable with a sprained MCL, it would be a big boost to get Collins back in the lineup.
Browns signed WR Terrelle Pryor.
Multiple reports have said Pryor is signing as a wide receiver, but the timing is interesting after Cleveland likely lost Josh McCown for the year with a broken collarbone. The Browns could certainly use help at wide receiver too. Pryor was reportedly in discussion with the Bears before deciding to head back to Cleveland.
ESPN's Adam Caplan reports Eagles WR Josh Huff (concussion) is expected to resume practicing this week.
He did not practice Tuesday, but he could return later in the week. As long as he does not suffer any setbacks, Huff should be ready to play against the Patriots. A sporadically used member of a dysfunctional passing game, Huff is not worth rostering in redraft formats.
