NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Steelers OL coach Mike Munchak will have a second interview for the Cardinals' head coaching vacancy.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot reports ex-Giants coach Ben McAdoo is interviewing for the Browns' offensive coordinator vacancy.

And Browns fans thought Mike Mularkey being linked to the job was as bad as it would get. McAdoo did have some success early in his run with the Giants, but his offenses were among the worst in the league the last two seasons even when Odell Beckham was on the field. Texans QBs coach Sean Ryan has also been linked with the job.

ESPN's Mike Triplett believes it is "highly unlikely" Coby Fleener returns to the Saints on his current deal.

Coming off a season in which he caught just 22 passes in 11 games, Fleener is set to count $8 million against the cap with a $6.3 million salary. There is almost no chance he sticks around at those numbers, and while a pay cut is possible, it is more likely the Saints cut him outright. Doing so would save $3.2 million against the cap.

MMQB's Albert Breer reports Panthers DC Steve Wilks is still "in the mix" for the Cardinals' head coaching vacancy.

Vikings OC Pat Shurmur was reportedly the favorite in Arizona, but he appears poised to take over the Giants job. That would open the door for Wilks, who Breer reports would bring Eagles QBs coach John DeFilippo with him as offensive coordinator. Wilks will also interview for the Titans, where he presumably will make the same pitch.

Bucs GM Jason Licht blamed injuries for the team's struggles in 2017.

Licht said he did not want to use the injuries "as excuses" before proceeding to use the injuries to Jameis Winston and several defenders as excuses for why the Bucs are keeping the coaching staff intact despite a season which fell well short of expectations. "We feel like it's continuity," Licht said. "The answers are here in terms of the coaches, the personnel people and we have a lot of good players we feel like in this locker room that can turn this thing around." If that does not happen in 2018, Dirk Koetter and company probably will not be as lucky next January.

Bucs GM Jason Licht said Doug Martin "wasn't ever the same" after returning from suspension.

Martin looked great in his first game back, rushing for 74 yards and a score on just 13 carries against the Patriots, but it was all downhill from there. He was disciplined for a team-rules violation in Week 13, and he watched Peyton Barber jump him on the depth chart. The Bucs can wipe all of Martin's $6.75 million salary off the cap by cutting him. It would be a shock if that did not happen.

A.J. McCarron said he wanted the "opportunity" to start in Cleveland.

McCarron was all but traded to the Browns at the deadline, but the paperwork was not filed in time. "I think I would have had some success playing for Hue," McCarron said. "I would have loved the opportunity to go up there and get them a win, more than one win." While he was specifically talking about the Browns, it is pretty clear McCarron is just tired of being a backup. Whether he is deemed a restricted or unrestricted free agent at a hearing on February 15, McCarron will likely do everything he can to get out of Cincinnati this offseason.

Rams OC Matt LaFleur will interview for the Titans' head-coaching vacancy on Thursday.

LaFleur just wrapped up his first season as offensive coordinator after coaching the Falcons' QBs under OC Kyle Shanahan the previous two seasons. 38-year-old LaFleur is an outside-the-box name but one that is certainly worthy of consideration after what the Rams were able to do offensively under Sean McVay. LaFleur may not be ready for the jump, but many thought the same of McVay. LaFleur has learned under some of the brightest offensive minds in the sport.
