Aaron Harang (back) threw a bullpen session Sunday with no issues and is in line to start on Tuesday in Anaheim.

Harang missed his last outing with some minor back stiffness, but he's alright now. The big righty holds a 7.30 ERA and 1.42 WHIP over five starts this season but does boast a 23/5 K/BB ratio over 24 2/3 frames.

Rays manager Joe Maddon said he planned to have Jake Odorizzi make all of the starts in place of the injured David Price (triceps).

It could possibly only be a couple starts, as the Rays are optimistic that Price will not need to miss much time. Odorizzi will make his Rays' debut on Tuesday against the Blue Jays. He's worth a shot in deeper mixed leagues.

Rays optioned LHP Alex Torres to Triple-A Durham.

Torres tossed four innings of hitless relief on Saturday, but the Rays needed a fresh arm. He's replaced in the bullpen by Jeff Beliveau.

Taylor Teagarden (thumb) will start a hitting and catching program on Monday.

Teagarden had the splint removed from his dislocated left thumb on Friday and is ready to begin baseball activities. He should be ready to return late this month or early next month.
May 19 - 12:07 PM

Brian Roberts (knee) will have the sutures removed from his right leg on Monday.

They were supposed to be removed on Friday, but Roberts wasn't sufficiently healed at that time. The second baseman is coming back from surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in the back of his right knee and will be out for at least the next six weeks or so.
May 19 - 12:04 PM

Freddy Garcia will start on Monday against the Yankees.

Garcia was knocked around his last time out and might only be given one more shot to shape up. He should be avoided for fantasy purposes on Monday.
May 19 - 11:59 AM

Jake Westbrook (elbow) played light catch on Sunday.

Westbrook made 25 throws from 60 feet and said he felt good. The right-hander hasn't recovered as quickly as hoped from inflammation in his right elbow, requiring a pair of injections. He's expected to miss at least a couple more starts.
May 19 - 11:56 AM

Andrew McCutchen was scratched from the Pirates' lineup due to pain in his right knee.

It's not clear at this point how McCutchen suffered the injury or if it might cause him to miss additional games. The Pirates should offer an update on his status soon. Starling Marte will move over to center field to cover for McCutchen, while Travis Snider plays left and Garrett Jones right.
