Coach Kyle Shanahan announced C.J. Beathard will start Week 12 against the Seahawks.

After getting their first win of the season last time out against the Giants, Shanahan will give Beathard another game under center coming out of the bye, and Jimmy Garoppolo will continue to have to wait his turn with his new team. We'd still expect to see Garoppolo before the season is over. Beathard has managed back-to-back top-12 fantasy finishes and is on the streaming radar once again at home against an overrated defense missing several key components.

Coach Bruce Arians admitted Carson Palmer (arm, I.R.) isn't expected to return this season.

"None of the guys on IR have made expected progress in rehab, so as of today, no one is expected to return this season," Arians said. Palmer, along with David Johnson (wrist) is one of those players on I.R. He broke his arm back in Week 7 and was hoping to be back in around six weeks, but that was always on the optimistic side. The Cardinals are done at 4-6 and will ride with Blaine Gabbert as the current starter. He actually has a decent fantasy playoffs schedule.

Coach Bruce Arians admitted David Johnson (wrist, I.R.) hasn't "made expected progress" and isn't expected to return this season.

"None of the guys on IR have made expected progress in rehab, so as of today, no one is expected to return this season," Arians said. That seems to go for Carson Palmer (arm) as well. The Cardinals seem to realize their season is in the gutter and circling the drain at 4-6. Owners holding onto Johnson can likely cut bait without consequence. He'll be 100 percent for the offseason.

John Brown (toe) is not practicing Wednesday.

Brown is battling turf toe and is expected to miss time. In his absence, Chad Williams could see more reps behind Larry Fitzgerald, Jaron Brown, and J.J. Nelson. Brown can be dropped in season-long leagues.
Nov 22 - 3:33 PM

Will Fuller (ribs) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.

Coach Bill O'Brien calls Fuller "touch and go," as it's obviously a painful injury to play through. Consider Fuller doubtful for Sunday against Baltimore.
Nov 22 - 2:06 PM

Jordan Reed (hamstring) is out for Thursday night's Week 12 game against the Giants.

Reed was initially listed questionable and labeled a game-time decision by coach Jay Gruden just 45 minutes ago, but the team has since corrected the injury report. Vernon Davis gets the green light against the league's worst tight end defense and is a strong play in daily leagues on Thanksgiving.
Nov 22 - 1:38 PM

Matt Forte (knee) is not practicing on Wednesday.

Even coming out of the bye, Forte isn't quite ready to return. Things didn't go as expected in Week 10 against the Bucs, with Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire essentially splitting the work 50-50 and Powell being one of the biggest fantasy busts of the week. Expect a similar split if Forte sits again.
Nov 22 - 1:22 PM

Chris Hogan (shoulder) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.

Hogan hasn't practiced since getting hurt in Week 8. He needs to return to practice before he has a chance to play. Brandin Cooks, Danny Amendola, and Rex Burkhead will continue to soak up extra looks in Hogan's absence.
