Vance McDonald caught 2-of-4 targets for nine yards in Week 13.
The four targets were a team high. McDonald had at least 50 yards or a touchdown in four straight games going into Sunday. He was in a bad spot due to the conditions at Soldier Field. McDonald is a TE2 for Week 14 against the Jets.
Virgil Green went catch-less on one target in Week 13.
He's been passed by AJ Derby as the Broncos' pass-catching tight end.
Steve Smith Sr. absorbed six-of-10 targets for 53 yards Sunday in the Ravens' Week 13 win over the Dolphins.
Somehow on a day when Joe Flacco threw for a season-high 381 yards, his best receiver managed just 53. Smith Sr. was still plenty involved, finishing second on the team in targets behind tight end Dennis Pitta. Four of Smith Sr.’s six grabs came before halftime including a 23-yarder on the Ravens’ opening drive. That would end up being his longest gain of the afternoon. Smith Sr. can be employed as a WR3 next week against New England.
Demaryius Thomas caught 6-of-10 targets for 61 yards in the Broncos' Week 13 win over the Jaguars.
The Broncos only threw for 104 yards in this game with Paxton Lynch at quarterback, so Demaryius owners who started him should be wiping their brow that he came out with this much production. Trevor Siemian is battling a foot sprain and his status for Week 14 against the Titans is questionable. Thomas will be a WR2 if Siemian plays, and a boom-bust WR3 if Lynch gets another nod.
Kenneth Dixon covered 56 yards on six carries and reeled in four catches for 21 yards Sunday in the Ravens' Week 13 win over the Dolphins.
Dixon looked explosive, averaging a robust 9.3 yards per carry. Unfortunately the Ravens threw 50 passes on Sunday, which left him with little to do. Terrance West out-touched Dixon 13-10 and scored a pair of touchdowns. We’re guessing the backfield distribution will be close to a 50/50 split next week against New England.
Jeremy Kerley caught 1-of-2 targets for 18 yards in Week 13.
The 49ers struggled to pass despite trailing the entire second half. Kerley led the 49ers in receiving, but saw fewer targets than Vance McDonald (4). Even if Blaine Gabbert starts next week, Kerley won't be on the streaming radar.
Breshad Perriman delivered two catches for 59 yards and a touchdown on three targets Sunday in the Ravens' Week 13 win over the Dolphins.
Perriman broke loose for a 53-yard touchdown on a check-down pass from Joe Flacco early in the fourth quarter. That was his only notable contribution. After going his first eight games without a touchdown, Perriman has now found the end zone three times in his last four contests. It’s a good sign, but obviously not enough for us to consider Perriman as a realistic fantasy option.
Tim Hightower rushed two times for five yards in the Saints' Week 13 loss to the Lions, adding a four-yard reception.
With Mark Ingram battling a toe injury, today was set up to be a nice day for Hightower. Instead he completely disappeared as the Saints had the ball for only 23 minutes against the ball-control Lions. Confusingly, he was out-touched 5-3 by Travaris Cadet. Hightower is coach Sean Payton's teacher's pet, but he'll be a high-risk RB3 against the Bucs in Week 14.
