Bears signed WR John Chiles to a reserve/future contract.

The 6'2/210 Chiles went undrafted out of Texas way back in 2011. He's had cups of coffee with the Saints and Rams, but has never caught an NFL pass. Chiles went 29-475-1 for the CFL's Toronto Argonauts in 2014.

ESPN Vikings reporter Ben Goessling fully expects "bigger and better things" from Teddy Bridgewater in Year 2.

Bridgewater recorded the third-highest completion percentage (64.4) and seventh-highest passer rating (85.2) by a rookie in NFL history. He did it even though Cordarrelle Patterson was a liability, Kyle Rudolph was hurt, Adrian Peterson missed 15 games and he was learning Norv Turner's offense for the first time. Over the final six weeks of the season, Bridgewater was fantasy's No. 10 QB and he'll bring serious QB2 appeal heading into 2015 -- especially if the Vikings bring back Peterson.

Former agent Joel Corry confirms Trent Richardson's suspension voids the guarantees on his $3.18M 2015 base salary.

Richardson was suspended during the playoffs for conduct detrimental to the team. He'll likely file a grievance through the NFLPA, but if the suspension stands then the Colts can dump their inept running back without paying him the final year of his guaranteed rookie contract. It would be a tiny silver lining for the franchise, who gave the Browns a first-round pick to acquire Richardson early in the 2013 season. He's been outperformed badly by players named Boom Herron and Zurlon Tipton.

Some around the league believe teams will be interested in trading for Bucs QB Mike Glennon.

Although Glennon was quietly effective as a rookie in 2013, the Lovie Smith regime never gave him much of a shot. Glennon started just five games in 2014, operating mostly as a backup to 35-year-old journeyman Josh McCown. Now the Bucs, likely to select a quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick, should be even more motivated to trade Glennon than they were last year. Perhaps a QB-desperate team like the Bills or Jets would be willing to part with a late-round pick. Glennon is under contract for just $687,188 in 2015.

Greg Olsen said he hasn't had any substantial contract extension talks with the Panthers yet.

Olsen's deal is not a priority as he's signed through the 2015 season. It would also be silly for the Panthers to "buy high" right now as the tight end is coming off a career-best season at age 29. We wouldn't be surprised if the Panthers make Olsen play out 2015 as a contract-year player, ensuring he's highly motivated as the No. 2 pass-game weapon behind Kelvin Benjamin.

Lions WR Corey Fuller said his offseason goal is to improve his route-running.

Fuller, a former track star that is still raw as an NFL wideout, caught just 14 passes for 212 yard with one touchdown as an NFL sophomore. He's going to have to expand his route tree if he's going to separate from the likes of T.J. Jones, Ryan Broyles and Jeremy Ross. We're not expecting it to happen, leaving Fuller as a sub-package reserve once again in 2015.

Colts re-signed Rob Chudzinski to a new contract under the title of associate head coach.

Chudzinski, who served as a "special assistant" to head coach Chuck Pagano in 2014, garnered interest from at least the 49ers and Rams over the last few weeks. It's interesting that he's passing on those offensive coordinator opportunities to stay in a background role with Indy. It's likely a financial promotion coupled with the presence of Andrew Luck (vs. Colin Kaepernick or Sam Bradford) swayed him. Regardless, arguably the top OC candidate that was still available is now off the board. Chud is a talent maximizer that loves to utilize the tight end in the pass game -- his return is great news for Luck, Dwayne Allen, Coby Fleener and the entire Colts offense that ranked No. 3 in the league.

ESPN Steelers reporter Scott Brown says free agent CB Ike Taylor is "unlikely" to be re-signed.

It's a sad day for matchup-savvy fantasy owners. Taylor was a weekly target for the last few seasons, giving up countless big plays to front-line receivers. Notable whippings in 2014 came at the hands of Kenny Stills in Week 13 (5-162-1) and A.J Green in Week 14 (11-224-1). Although the Steelers are razor-thin and severely lacking talent at corner, moving on from Taylor is their only move. At age 35 (in May), he could very well be at the end of the line.
