Speaking Thursday, coach John Fox said the Broncos want Peyton Manning back for 2015.

Consider it the obvious statement of the century, but it comes in response to Manning's Wednesday words that he's planning to play in 2015 as long as the Broncos want him. Manning's final decision will likely rest on his offseason physical, but most signs point toward him returning for an 18th year in the NFL.
Dec 25 - 6:20 PM

Dwayne Bowe (shoulder) remained sidelined Thursday.

Back-to-back DNPs are never a good sign, but we're guessing Bowe is just saving his bullets for Sunday's must-win game against the Chargers. His status will be updated on Friday.
Dec 25 - 6:17 PM

Jamaal Charles (hamstring, ankle) was limited in Thursday's practice.

The Chiefs are just resting Charles ahead of Sunday's must-win finale against the Chargers. He'll be ready to rock for his normal role.
Dec 25 - 6:17 PM

Percy Harvin (ribs, ankle) remained sidelined Thursday.

Barring a surprise Friday return to practice, it appears Harvin will miss Sunday's finale against the Dolphins. It's possible he's already played his final down as a Jet.
Dec 25 - 6:15 PM

Chris Ivory was added to the Jets' injury report Thursday, getting in a limited session with a hamstring issue.

Ivory must have tweaked something in Wednesday's session, as the Jets didn't practice on Thursday. Their injury report was just an approximation. Ivory has a long history of hamstring issues, but the "limited" tag — as opposed to "DNP" — suggests he'll be ready for Sunday's finale against the Dolphins. Ivory's status will be updated on Friday.
Dec 25 - 6:12 PM

Updating a previous item, the Lions listed Joique Bell (Achilles') as a full participant in Thursday's practice.

This should result in a probable tag on Friday. Reports earlier Thursday claiming Bell did not practice jumped the gun. Bell is on track to start against Green Bay and should be in line for his usual workload.
Dec 25 - 5:23 PM

Kyle Rudolph (ankle, knee) remained sidelined Thursday.

The injury-prone tight end appears poised to miss Sunday's finale.
Dec 25 - 3:47 PM

A.J. Green (arm) returned to Bengals practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

It confirms that Green is on track to suit up for Sunday evening's AFC North title game. Green will likely be listed as "questionable" on Friday's injury report, but all signs point toward him playing against the Steelers.
