Santonio Holmes had two catches for 20 yards in Week 2 against the 49ers.

Even with Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery playing injured, Holmes was a non-factor. Holmes remains well off the fantasy radar.
Sep 15 - 2:05 AM

Carlos Hyde had zero yards on four carries in Week 2 against the Bears.

He managed one catch for five yards. Hyde failed to convert on a goal-line carry in the first quarter, and saw limited work behind Frank Gore. It's a step back after he rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown in the opener. The 49ers should look to get Hyde more involved in Week 3.
Sep 15 - 2:01 AM

Martellus Bennett had seven catches for 37 yards and a touchdown in Sunday night's win over the 49ers.

Bennett got all of his receptions on check downs in a game where Jay Cutler threw for only 176 yards. His touchdown was a three-yard fade route in the fourth quarter. With Alshon Jeffery at less than full health, Bennett tied Brandon Marshall for a team high eight targets. Bennett now has touchdowns in two straight games and remains a low-end TE1.
Sep 15 - 1:54 AM

Stevie Johnson caught two passes for 26 yards in Week 2 against the Bears.

Johnson played in three-wide sets, finishing with four targets. Both of his catches came on third down. Brandon Lloyd and Quinton Patton were both healthy inactives. Johnson is locked in as the 49ers' No. 3 receiver.
Sep 15 - 1:47 AM

Anquan Boldin had two catches for 34 yards in Sunday night's loss to the Bears.

He was targeted six times. With Michael Crabtree healthy, Boldin was the No. 3 option. Vernon Davis left in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury, so Boldin could potentially see an expanded role in Week 3 against the Cardinals.
Sep 15 - 1:41 AM

Alshon Jeffery secured 3-of-6 targets for 47 yards in Sunday night's Week 2 win over the 49ers.

Jeffery was clearly playing injured, and had just one catch for four yards at half. His only notable play was a 29-yard fade route he caught over 49ers CB Chris Culliver. With the Bears playing on Monday night, Jeffery will have eight days to get healthy for Week 3.
Sep 15 - 1:34 AM

Michael Crabtree caught seven passes for 82 yards and a touchdown in Sunday night's loss to the Bears.

Crabtree was the clear No. 1 option, drawing a team-high nine targets. He got wide open for a three-yard touchdown in the first quarter, with the majority of his yardage not coming until the 49ers' final two drives. Crabtree's calf injury is no longer an issue. He's an upside WR2 for Week 3.
Sep 15 - 1:26 AM

Brandon Marshall had five catches for 48 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday night's win over the 49ers.

Marshall had arguably the best catch of the season on a one-handed 17-yard touchdown over 49ers CB Jimmy Ward at the end of the first half. All three of his scores came against Ward. He tied for the team lead with eight targets and played the entire game despite his questionable status. Marshall has 13 catches for 119 yards and four touchdowns through two weeks.
