Redskins CB Bashaud Breeland hurt his knee in Friday's practice and is questionable for Week 9 against the Vikings.

He'll go for an MRI. Breeland is coming off his best game of his rookie season, when he held Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams to four catches for 52 scoreless yards on eight targets. If Breeland is forced to miss Week 9, Tracy Porter and E.J. Biggers would be the Nos. 2 and 3 corners behind David Amerson.

Doug Martin (ankle) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.

Barring a surprise, Bobby Rainey will get the start at running back against the Browns. Depending on how the Bucs choose to sprinkle Mike James and/or Charles Sims in, Rainey could handle 20-plus touches. If so, he'd be a high-upside RB2 against a Cleveland defense that is yielding the ninth-most fantasy points to running backs. Rainey has easily been Tampa's best runner in 2014.

Darren Sproles (knee) is probable for Week 9 against the Texans.

He'll return from his sprained MCL as Rotoworld's No. 34 running back this week.
Oct 31 - 12:23 PM

Tony Romo (back) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.

Coach Jason Garrett continues to say Romo will be a literal game-time decision. The Cowboys will see how Romo feels in pregame warm-ups and make a call then. It's all about pain tolerance for Romo, who will wear extra padding if he plays.
Oct 31 - 12:11 PM

Owen Daniels (knee) returned to practice Friday.

Daniels was limited Wednesday before being downgraded to DNP on Thursday. Even if he plays, we're not recommending Daniels for fantasy lineups.
Oct 31 - 12:07 PM

Jordan Cameron (concussion) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.

Cameron isn't going to play this week. It'll be Jim Dray and Gary Barnidge for the Browns. Cameron is tentatively expected to miss Weeks 9 and 10.

Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports Panthers RE Greg Hardy will not play until completion of his domestic abuse trial.

Cole reported late Thursday night that Hardy would ask to have his paid suspension lifted as he awaits trial. According to Cole's NFL source, Hardy will remain on the Commissioner's Exempt List until trial, so he won't be returning to the team anytime soon. Hardy's trial was originally scheduled for November 17. It's been delayed and is expected to take place sometime in January.

Giovani Bernard (hip) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.

Ace beat reporter Paul Dehner "can't see a scenario" where Bernard plays Sunday against the Jaguars. Jeremy Hill is fully expected to handle feature-back duties as a candidate for 20-plus touches. Cedric Peerman would be the No. 2.
