Taj Gibson finished Sunday's home game with six points on 2-of-9 shooting, five rebounds and one turnover in 21 minutes.

Gibson played solid defense but wound up with zero steals or blocks, and the inefficient shooting added insult to injury for anyone relying on him tonight. The veteran could overtake Domantas Sabonis as the starting PF, but until his minutes spike it's hard to trust him.

Alex Abrines started in place of Victor Oladipo (back) on Sunday, posting 13 points on 4-of-12 shooting with three 3-pointers and three rebounds in 35 minutes.

It's not the return opportunistic owners were hoping for after Friday's 19-point outburst, but keep in mind that game came vs. the Lakers. Oladipo warmed up prior to tonight's game and it sounds like he's close to a return, so there's no real incentive to hold Abrines in season-long leagues.

Russell Westbrook survived an injury scare to finish Sunday's win vs. the Pelicans with 41 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and nine turnovers, making 14-of-29 FGs and 11-of-12 FTs in 37 minutes.

Westbrook limped off the court after falling on a drive to the basket in the second quarter, but he started the third and didn't show any obvious discomfort. He scored 21 points in the fourth quarter tonight and willed OKC to another win, putting them within 3.5 games of the No. 4 seed. He's averaging a triple-double this season, so tonight's line doesn't seem as outrageous as it would for any other human.
Feb 26 - 9:54 PM

Enes Kanter played well in 24 minutes vs. New Orleans on Sunday, scoring 20 points on 6-of-9 FGs and 8-of-10 FTs.

Kanter rounded out his line with nine rebounds, three assists and one steal. His playing time could take a hit with Taj Gibson in town, but he's a per-minute dynamo who should continue to post value in 12-team leagues.
Feb 26 - 9:54 PM

Domantas Sabonis played only eight minutes on Sunday, scoring four points with one rebound in a a 118-110 home win vs. the Pelicans.

Sabonis was a starter in name only tonight. He picked up a few quick fouls while attempting to defend the Pelicans' frontcourt, and it was Taj Gibson and Enes Kanter soaking up most of his minutes tonight. The rookie wasn't a viable fantasy option even while playing 20+ minutes, so feel free to cut him.
Feb 26 - 9:53 PM

Donatas Motiejunas (left shin laceration) returned to Sunday's game to finish with six points, four rebounds and one steal in 23 minutes.

Motie left for a while in the first half to get some stitches, but this isn't an injury that should jeopardize his status going forward. His minutes were inflated due to DeMarcus Cousins' foul trouble tonight, so don't read anything into this performance.
Feb 26 - 9:52 PM

Anthony Davis went off for 38 points in a losing effort on Sunday, making 15-of-28 field goals and 6-of-6 free throws with two 3-pointers, seven rebounds, four assists and one steal.

Davis dropped 24 points in the first quarter alone, setting a new franchise record for points in a quarter. He and DeMarcus Cousins combined for a whopping 69 points tonight, but their teammates added just 41 points on 35.1 percent shooting. They're figuring things out on the fly, but so far it doesn't look like AD will take a big hit statistically with Cousins alongside him.
Feb 26 - 9:51 PM

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope finished with 18 points, three assists, three rebounds, two blocked shots and an assist in Sunday's loss against the Celtics.

KCP has been stroking it from behind the arc lately, connecting for 12 triples over his past three outings. He has been a rather streaky player for his fantasy owners, and right now he is enjoying a hot stretch with 22.3 points and 5.7 rebounds over the past three games to crush his season averages. As such he has been a solid bargain in daily formats.
