Emeka Okafor said going through the G-League gave him a better appreciation for being in the NBA.

"Perspective is a blessing. My time in the G League was all about perspective," Okafor said. "I gained a greater appreciation for the grind." Okafor has earned a couple starts in New Orleans, but he's still not a lock to be on the squad for the remainder of the season as he's just on a 10-day deal. It's nice to see him back in the NBA following a five-year absence, but he's a non-factor in most leagues.

Andrew White has been recalled from the G-League.

White had a nice showing in the final game leading up to the All-Star break with 15 points, three triples, two boards, one assist and a steal, but that stat line came with three of the five Atlanta starters watching from the sidelines. With the regulars expected to be back in action on Friday, it'll be tough for White to have a repeat performance.

Josh Magette has been recalled from the G-League.

He'll help warm the bench on Friday, but it's unlikely he'll be out there for meaningful minutes.

Malik Monk missed most of Tuesday's practice after being involved in a car accident on Sunday.

Monk suffered from upper-body soreness when he arrived for Tuesday’s practice, was examined by team doctors and then put up some shots after most of the other players had left the court. "They just had to make sure he was OK," Hornets coach Steve Clifford said. "He wasn’t able to practice today, but he says he feels better. He’s just stiff." Monk's not doing much fantasy-wise right now and the Hornets are in the playoff hunt, so that's unlikely to change anytime soon.

The Jazz will send guard Naz Mitrou-Long to the G-League's Salt Lake City Stars on Tuesday.

Despite having the smoothest name in the league, he isn't likely to have any fantasy value this season and is currently on a 10-day contract with the Jazz.

Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek suggested on Tuesday that Joakim Noah will not return to the Knicks this season.

"I think that is the plan," Hornacek said after practice. The Knicks sent Noah away after he and Hornacek got into a skirmish at practice on Jan. 24, when Noah was upset that he played less than five minutes the night before. "That’s something that happened three weeks ago, four weeks ago," Hornacek said. "We’ve moved on. He’s ready to move on and maybe have an opportunity somewhere else." While this story has no fantasy impacts, Noah could have helped a team missing Kristaps Porzingis. Noah's NBA career appears to be winding down in his 10th season.

Tim Frazier (nose) is expected to play on Thursday vs. the Cavaliers.

He missed the Wizards’ last game after undergoing nasal fracture surgery, but he's had some time to recover over the break. He'll be sporting a face mask and should be ready to back up Tomas Satoransky.

Michael Beasley missed practice on Tuesday due to "right ear irritation."

This is all we have to work with, but we'll put him on the injury report to be safe. With that said, we'd be very surprised if he wasn't ready for Thursday's game vs. the Magic. He's a must-own player right now and averaged 18.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks in his last four games.
