C.J. Watson (Achilles) is listed as out in the game notes for Saturday's matchup with the Hawks.

Watson also sat out Thursday's contest. Elfrid Payton was plugged into the starting lineup on Thursday, but was relatively quiet and played just 22 minutes. D.J. Augustin played 25 minutes off the bench. Mario Hezonja also saw 25 minutes off the bench and scored 10 points.

C.J. Wilcox (left Achilles tendinitis) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game vs. Atlanta.

No fantasy impact to note here, as Wilcox is averaging under five minutes per game on the season and has not played since early January.

Cameron Payne (illness) said he expects to dress and be available for Saturday's game vs. the Cavs.

Payne was prevented from making his Bulls debut on Friday because he was under the weather. The Bulls gave up a lot (Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott) in the trade with OKC, so Payne is expected to see significant minutes the rest of the season in Chicago.

Kawhi Leonard scored 21 points during a 105-97 win over the Clippers on Friday, adding three rebounds, six assists, one steal and three turnovers in 31 minutes.

He only played 15 minutes in the All-Star Game because he wanted to rest up for the second half, so coach Gregg Popovich is rubbing off on him. For what it's worth, Kawhi actually played 2.0 minutes per game after the break last year compared to before the break with a higher usage rate along the way. His fantasy owners shouldn't expect too much of a drop off until April.

Pau Gasol - F/C - Spurs

Pau Gasol scored 17 points in his return to the lineup against the Clippers on Friday, adding 11 rebounds, two assist, one block and three 3-pointers in 27 minutes.

Those three treys are the most he's made as a Spur. Gasol had one of the wildest injuries of the season when he broke his hand while in layup lines before the game on Jan. 19. The 36-year-old Gasol will likely be getting some days off with the Spurs comfortably in the No. 2 spot and also Dewayne Dedmon will be used as a defensive stopper to offset Gasol's struggles on that end. That said, the future Hall of Fame big man should be owned in all leagues now that he's back.
Feb 25 - 3:39 AM

Dewayne Dedmon scored four points with 12 rebounds, three assists, one steal and four blocks against the Clippers on Friday night.

He's not dead yet. Coach Gregg Popovich loves to use Dedmon as a situational big man, especially against formidable 4-5 combos like the Clippers have. Even with Pau Gasol back, Dedmon figures to get the most run of the bigs not named Gasol or LaMarcus Aldridge. He could still be a sneaky block specialist, but there will be a handful of bad games due to the matchup-based minutes from night to night.
Feb 25 - 3:35 AM

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 15 points with 11 rebounds, one assist, one block, one steal and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes against the Clippers on Friday.

On paper, Aldridge was expected to see a boost in production while Pau Gasol was out. Well, that did not happen due to Aldridge making just 39.0 percent from the field in his previous February games and a drop in scoring compared to January despite an increase in minutes. LMA tore it up in the second half last season, but he just doesn't have it in his age-31 season. He's more of a mid-round guy than the early-round he's been for most of this decade.

David Lee - F/C - Spurs

David Lee played 11 minutes with two points, five rebounds and one block against the Clippers on Friday.

He was the primary beneficiary from the Pau Gasol injury and looked great for the last month. We'll see some more Lee at some point when the Spurs rest their bigs, but he's a clear cut candidate for those who used him in deep leagues.
