Teddy Bridgewater faced pressure on nearly 47 percent of his 2015 dropbacks.

He absorbed 44 sacks, sixth most in the NFL. The Vikings know their offensive line was a huge weakness, firing OL coach Jeff Davidson immediately after the season. The Vikings now have decisions to make on an ineffective and/or injury-riddled tackle crew of Matt Kalil, T.J. Clemmings, and Phil Loadholt. RG Mike Harris is a free agent and LG Brandon Fusco is coming off a down year.

Dolphins released CB Brice McCain.

McCain made 11 starts in the slot last year, but graded as one of the league's worst corners. His release saves $2.5 million. Bobby McCain is an in-house candidate for nickel duties, though Miami plans to add multiple corners this offseason.

Dolphins released DE Quinton Coples.

Coples had a $7.8 million team option for 2016. It's an expected move after he played just 78 snaps in six games with Miami last year. A 2012 first-round pick, Coples should draw interest in 4-3 schemes as a post-hype flyer.

ESPN Saints reporter Mike Triplett expects the Saints to keep C.J. Spiller on the roster, at least into training camp.

The Saints would actually lose salary cap space by releasing Spiller unless they designated him a post-June 1 cut, which would affect their salary cap down the road. Triplett writes there's a "good chance" Spiller will get "another summer to regain his spark" after he fell behind due to pre-season knee surgery in 2015. Spiller has always been an exciting talent, but he's also been a fantasy disappointment far more often than not. He'll turn 29 this August.

Panthers re-signed DE Wes Horton to a one-year contract.

Horton appeared in eight games (two starts) as a rotational edge defender. He missed four games to a PED suspension and was briefly released in December before re-signing to the practice squad. 26-year-old Horton will return as depth behind Charles Johnson and Kony Ealy.

The Giants will stick with Ereck Flowers at left tackle in 2016.

This was confirmed when GM Jerry Reese released Will Beatty. To say Flowers took his lumps as a rookie would be an understatement. The ninth overall pick in last April's draft, Flowers graded out dead last in Pro Football Focus' offensive tackle ratings, allowing a league-high 47 quarterback hurries to go with 17 hits on Eli Manning, which ranked second most among NFL tackles.

Giants hired Jeff Zgonina as assistant defensive line coach.

Zgonina held the same position with the Texans in 2013. 45-year-old Zgonina played 17 seasons in the NFL as a versatile defensive lineman. In New York, Zgonina will try to jump start one of the league's weakest defensive lines.

The Buccaneers worked out four kickers this week including Josh Scobee.

The others were Nate Freese, Mike Meyer and Cameron Starke. We last saw Scobee in Pittsburgh where he made 6-of-10 field goals before getting cut. Connor Barth finished the year as Tampa Bay's kicker but clearly the Bucs are open to other options.
