According to Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com, the Cardinals plan to activate Greg Holland from the disabled list at some point during the upcoming week.

Holland will travel with the team this week rather than continuing on his rehab assignment. The right-hander has been on the disabled list since May 26 with a right hip impingement. In 13 1/3 innings with the Cardinals this season, he has posted a horrifying 9.45 ERA and 10/15 K/BB ratio.

Mitch Moreland finished Sunday's 9-3 victory at Seattle with two singles, two runs scored and two RBI across five at-bats.

Moreland's fantasy appeal has decreased significantly in the month of June, as he is hitting just .212 (11-for-52) with a double, two homers and six RBI while striking out 13 times across 15 games. Overall his batting average has slipped from .321 to .276 just since May 26. Moreland has been a solid fantasy option since he bats in the middle of a productive Red Sox lineup on an everyday basis, but he'll need to start hitting soon. Hopefully this multi-hit effort will get him going again.
Jun 17 - 10:14 PM

Rafael Devers ended up 2-for-5 with a three-run homer in Sunday's 9-3 victory on the road against the Mariners.

Devers has picked up the pace in the month of June, hitting safely in 11 of his past 12 outings, and he has driven in six runs over the past seven outings. He has raised his average from .223 to .239 just since June 5, and his power has been a plus for fantasy owners. Just know that his batting average still can hurt you over time.
Jun 17 - 10:10 PM

Andrew Benintendi finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 9-3 victory in Seattle.

Benintendi has been on fire since the end of May, going 30-for-84 (.357) to raise his average from .272 to .299 since May 25. He has rattled off 10 multi-hit efforts during the impressive stretch, too. Unfortunately he has managed just one extra-base hit, a homer, over his past seven outings, but he is doing enough in the batting average and RBI departments where fantasy owners cannot complain too vehemently.
Jun 17 - 10:01 PM

Eduardo Rodriguez allowed two earned runs, six hits and a walk with nine strikeouts over six innings in a victory in Seattle on Sunday.

Rodriguez threw 70 of his 113 pitches for strikes in the quality start, moving to 9-1 while lowering his ERA to 3.59. He threw first-pitch strikes to 21 of the 25 batters he faced, winning his sixth straight outing. He has also lowered his ERA in each of his past six starts, going from 4.68 on May 15 to just 3.59 after this victory. He'll look to keep it rolling in the right direction in a rematch against Mike Leake and the Mariners at Fenway Park next Saturday.
Jun 17 - 9:55 PM

Caleb Ferguson allowed four runs - three earned - and two hits with a walk and six strikeouts over five innings in a loss Sunday against San Francisco.

Ferguson threw 58 of his 84 pitches for strikes while posting 13 first-pitch strikes against the 19 batters he faced. It was his best showing to date, but he still failed to record a quality start in three appearances. He has a ways to go before he'll be worth using in fantasy leagues. His next scheduled start is tentatively set for next weekend against the Mets, but he is an extremely risky streamer option.
Jun 17 - 9:37 PM

Brandon Belt went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's road win against the Dodgers.

Belt had his first hit and RBI since returning from the 10-day disabled list after an emergency appendectomy. He was hitless on Saturday, but he looked good enough on Sunday to feel confident in starting him across the board heading into the new week. Belt is slashing .302/.397/.548 through 55 games with 12 homers and 33 RBI.
Jun 17 - 9:33 PM

Hunter Strickland worked two-thirds of a scoreless inning with one strikeout to secure his 14th save of the season in Sunday's road win against the Dodgers.

Strickland needed just eight pitches in the save opportunity, throwing five strikes. He bounced back nicely after blowing a save in his most recent outing on June 14 in Miami. However, he has converted 12 of his past 13 save chances. Mark Melancon is in the bullpen, too, and he has closing history. However, it appears Strickland remains in firm control of ninth-inning duties for now.
