Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 21-of-32 passes for 262 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Texans' Week 7 loss to the Steelers on Monday night.

Fitzpatrick played well for much of the first half, leading the Texans on three consecutive scoring drives to open the game. It was a train wreck thereafter. One play after the Steelers had just scored a three-yard touchdown on an Arian Foster fumble at the goal line, Fitzpatrick comes back and tosses an interception at his own 20-yard line with 53 seconds left in the first half. The Steelers scored another TD and totaled 24 points in 2:54 before the break after trailing 13-0 with 3:08 left in the half. The Texans struggled on third downs passing the ball all night. Fitz's TDs went to Alfred Blue and Foster. He's a back-end QB2.

Arian Foster rushed for 102 yards on 20 carries in the Texans' 30-23, Week 7 loss to the Steelers on Monday night, adding four catches for 13 yards and one touchdown.

Foster got off to a blazing start, rushing for 59 yards on the Texans' 94-yard opening touchdown drive, but was vultured by Alfred Blue for the 11-yard touchdown catch to cap it off. The wheels then fell off the Texans later in the half, and they never recovered. Foster was part of the problem, as he lost a fumble at his own three-yard line, setting up Le'Veon Bell's easy TD. Foster gave fantasy owners a scare on the third series of the game when he appeared to twist his knee while getting bent backward on a tackle. He shook it off and remained in the game. His score came from one yard out late in the fourth quarter. A locked-in RB1 any week he plays, Foster gets a date with the Titans in Week 8.

Le'Veon Bell rushed for 57 yards on 12 carries in the Steelers' 30-23, Week 7 win over the Texans on Monday night, adding eight catches for 88 yards and one touchdown.

Bell didn't see nearly enough work as a runner, with OC Todd Haley opting to give nine carries to LeGarrette Blount and Dri Archer. But Bell more than made up for it in the pass game. His big gain was a 43-yard catch-and-run on a third down in the first half when he ran right past ILB Brian Cushing, who appears to be a shell of his former self after season-ending injuries. Bell was then left wide open right before the half for a two-yard touchdown grab. It was his first score since Week 1. A legit RB1, Bell and the Steelers host the Colts next week.

Bucs signed KR Trindon Holliday.

Holliday spent the summer with the Giants before getting cut prior to Week 1. He's a return man only, so it can't be good news for undrafted WR Solomon Patton.

Steelers RT Marcus Gilbert was forced from Week 7 against the Texans with a concussion.

Mike Adams is in the game next to RG David DeCastro where they'll try and limit J.J. Watt. Gilbert signed a five-year, $30 million extension in August.

Steelers declared WR Justin Brown, NT Steve McLendon, LB Ryan Shazier, CB Ike Taylor, QB Landry Jones, S Shamarko Thomas, and OG Chris Hubbard inactive for Monday night's Week 7 game against the Texans.

Brown is being replaced in the lineup by rookie Martavis Bryant, who is making his NFL debut. McLendon has a shoulder injury, Ike Taylor has a broken forearm, and Shazier remains out with a knee issue. Jones is the No. 3 QB.

Jadeveon Clowney (knee) is inactive for Monday night's Week 7 game against the Steelers.

Clowney's lateral agility wasn't where the Texans wanted it to be in pre-game warmups. He's been out since undergoing knee surgery after Week 1. Whitney Mercilus is filling in. Also inactive for the Texans are QB Tom Savage, CB Jumal Rolle, CB Josh Aubrey, CB Darryl Morris, OT Jeff Adams, and WR DeVier Posey.

Coach Mike Pettine said the Browns "briefly" considered benching Brian Hoyer in favor of Johnny Manziel in Cleveland's 24-6 loss to Jacksonville.

How could they not have thought about it? Hoyer dropped the worst game of his career on the Jaguars, going 16-of-41 passing, turning it over twice, and taking three sacks. He missed a number of throws. "It was discussed briefly, but it was a situation where we still wanted to at least try to end the game with Brian on a positive note,'' Pettine said. Pettine went on to say Hoyer is "firmly our starter," but that's hard to believe. Once you start thinking about going to the backup, it's just a matter of time. Hoyer can't afford to lose to the 0-6 Raiders.
