Jaguars released RB Jonas Gray with an injury settlement.

That takes him off the Jaguars' injured reserve list. Gray hurt his quad early on in training camp and it's unclear when he might return. He managed just 54 yards on 14 carries in his two games for Jacksonville last season.

NFL suspended Chargers DT Damion Square four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

He'll be eligible to return against the Raiders in Week 5. Square missed a drug test, which has the same effect as if he had tested positive. The third-year defensive lineman appeared in six games for the Chargers after being claimed off waivers from Philadelphia in November.

Titans C/G Andy Gallik underwent a knee scope and will miss "at least" the remainder of the preseason.

Last year's sixth-rounder, Gallik is competing for a backup job along the interior.

Jaguars LT Kelvin Beachum (knee) said he "can see the light" and is nearing the end of his recovery.

Beachum tore his ACL last October and just recently progressed to doing one-on-one pass-blocking drills in practice this week. "Very close," Beachum said. "I don’t know how close, but I feel really close to being similar to myself." Beachum says he's ready now, but the decision is up to coach Gus Bradley.

Kendall Wright (hamstring) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.

Wright hasn't practiced in three weeks and missed pretty much all of training camp and the first two preseason games. He's also going to now miss the all-important third exhibition. Coach Mike Mularkey has already expressed his frustration with Wright's injury issues over the past two years. Wright should still have the slot role when he gets back, but his leash will be tight.

Coach Mike Mularkey promised Wednesday that the Titans will "find ways" to get Derrick Henry on the field this season.

Mularkey confirmed DeMarco Murray is the "starter," but the Titans are likely to use a two-back offense that could expand to three if Dexter McCluster is incorporated as the passing-down specialist. Henry has looked genuinely special this August. The Titans would be foolish to not give him 10-14 touches per game. With that said, Murray has dominated the first-team preseason snaps so far.

Jeremy Langford (foot) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday.

Langford appears to be questionable at best for the Bears' regular season dress rehearsal, but this is a step in the right direction after his foot was stepped on in Chicago's second preseason game, and Langford spent the next day in a walking boot. All signs still point to this being a minor "injury".

Coach Doug Pederson said Dorial Green-Beckham will work with the first-team offense in Saturday's third preseason game.

Green-Beckham got some run in the first half of last Thursday's preseason game just 48 hours after being acquired from the Titans. Now that he's had some practices under his belt, DGB is feeling more comfortable in the system and will be given an opportunity to climb a painfully-weak depth chart.
